She was friendly, professional, respectful and made the whole process feel very easy and comfortable. Libbe was approachable, polite and took the time to explain everything clearly to me and answer any questions I had.<br><br>It was a pleasure dealing with her, and I really appreciated how professional she was throughout the inspection. Excellent service — thank you, Libbe! I would definitely recommend her.

5th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Stayed at a short stay hosted by this company, they make you pay a £300 deposit outside of the booking app, the booking app states 7 days for this to be returned having chased this they said that their policy is 10 days, upon constant chasing 30+ days later this has still not been returned for various reasons, people on holiday, back logs etc etc, with numerous occasions of people not getting back to me, after an unsatisfactory conversation where I was told they could not give me a timescale and if I had a problem raise it with my bank. I have then left a negative review across popular review sites. They have manged to remove one of these. they have now said that they would not refund the owed deposit until I removed the review from this site, which I did as I need my money back. 5 days later still no refund so I am now posting again, really dissapointed. I have text evidence of this interaction. it is now the 5th August and no refund.
30th Jul 2026 (27 days ago)We’ve been searching for a new place to rent for a while, and remained undecided on whether to commit to the places we had viewed previously. However Duncan has been a great help over the last two weeks. From the communication, always responding and keeping us updated on the property, to the efficiency on which he got us a viewing, sent the contracts to sign and handled all the logistics.<br><br>Would definitely contact both Duncan Hastings Estate if I ever need to move again, and I would highly recommend others to do the same

11th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)I had such a positive experience with Mia and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly patient, understanding and attentive. It took her no time at all to understand exactly what I was looking for in a rental, and I genuinely felt listened to and supported throughout the process.<br><br>Although I ultimately didn’t end up securing a property through Foxtons, what really stood out to me was that Mia continued to check in and follow up with me afterwards. Mia knew my required move date was approaching and took the time to make sure I had something lined up, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and showed how much she genuinely cared. 13th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)The Romans agency was managing the flat I was renting in Maidenhead.<br>In October 2025, I reported damp walls (the roof was leaking) and mould appearing because of the damp. By July 2026, nothing was done to fix the issue, and the agent did nothing to help end the contract due to unhealthy conditions, only repeating that the landlord wouldn't want to lose a tenant. Other, smaller issues - like insufficient water pressure, insufficient amount of hot water to be able to do the dishes and take a shower in the same evening, carpets falling apart and tearing into threads - weren't fixed either.<br>When I gave a notice, and the flat manager came to see the situation with the walls, and acknowledged it was bad, they nonetheless proceeded to try and find a new tenant to live in a wet mouldy flat with crumbling walls.<br>Now it has been over a month since my contract ended, and my emails about the deposit are simply ignored by Romans.<br>Just really hope that karma exists, both for the agent and the landlord.

From the moment I met Aimee, she instantly understood what I was looking for in a home and was able to show me exactly the right house for my family. She even suggested a property I was hesitant to view, but she knew I’d fall in love with it, and she was right.<br><br>During the completion process I worked with Natasha, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us progress our sale through a chain of five parties and four properties. She worked tirelessly, and honestly I don’t think we could have completed without her.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team.

Throughout what has been a challenging tenancy situation for our family, Isabella has been incredibly efficient, supportive, caring and helpful.<br><br>She has gone above and beyond to make the process of changing the tenancy as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Her communication has been excellent, she has been incredibly understanding, and she has always approached everything with professionalism and kindness.<br><br>It has made such a difference having someone so responsive and supportive helping us through the process. 14th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Intercounty Dunmow helped me with the sale of my shared ownership property. The housing association had listed the property as required for 3 months with not a single viewing arranged. I was deflated about it and Intercounty changed the whole thing. I was very impressed by the initial appointment and how quickly they got it on the market.<br><br>Intercounty handled all of the viewings and communicated really well throughout. Very quickly I received offers and the sale was arranged. Unfortunately the first buyer pulled out at the last minute. Intercounty again very quickly found another buyer. I spoke mostly with Annabel Gurnett who was great both times!<br><br>After the sale was agreed Hayley French progressed the sale and without her I’m not sure what I would have done, it felt like she made it her personal mission to get it done. The buyers solicitor was very slow and Hayley sent multiple chaser emails and kept me updated throughout. It made the process much less stressful, so thank you so much.<br><br>Overall everyone was really helpful and technically sold the flat twice (thankfully only charging me once!). Really good team, highly recommended!

A special mention to Aaron, who looked after us from the very beginning right through to exchanging contracts. He was always helpful and made the whole process feel much easier. We’d definitely recommend James and James to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly estate agent.- 8th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)We had originally signed a lease via Douglas & Gordon which was transferred to Foxtons, and the service was genuinely abominable. While we were not a direct client, we wouldn’t touch Foxtons with a 10 foot pole for any buying/renting needs due to our end of tenancy experience.<br><br>1. Tried to claim that they only had to provide a few hours notice to us for viewings when our contract stated 24 hours (as does the law)<br>2. Would schedule viewings and not inform us when they were cancelled unless we reached out to confirm. Additionally, would organize viewings and then cancel after the scheduled time when we had already vacated the flat for the viewing<br>3. Showed up 20 min early for a viewing when we were eating dinner and also showed up late for viewings (which is understandable with prospective clients but at least let the tenant know)<br>4. Hadn’t heard from Foxtons in almost a week (while keeping the flat ready for showings), so sent an email asking what the state of affairs was. This was not answered so went into the office and was told the flat had been let and was not notified<br>5. After check out, was supposed to be notified if there were any deductions to the deposit. Reached out after a month and Foxtons response was asking if a check out had been done (Foxtons organized it) and suspected it had never been sent to the landlord<br><br>Generally rude and unhelpful - would not recommend across the board.

She was so supportive throughout and always kept us in the loop.<br><br>We really enjoyed working with Bethany and would recommend her to anyone searching for a home in Balham.
