The team was incredibly professional, helpful, and always kept me updated throughout the process. A special thank you to Abdul and Janet, who were my main points of contact. They were both friendly, efficient, and always available to answer any questions I had — no matter how small. Abdul was especially supportive and clear in explaining every step, while Janet was always quick to respond and very reassuring during what can be a stressful process. Thanks to their guidance and dedication, everything went smoothly and on time. I’m truly grateful for all their help and can’t recommend Churchill Estate highly enough. If you’re buying or selling a property, this is the team you want on your side.

31st Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)We used Linay and Shipp for selling our house and buying a new house, and were very impressed by their service right from the start to finish. Every staff is helpful and lovely, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They provided a professional photographer taking high quality photos for our property, and we had three viewing requests within two hours after the property listed. They were also very good with dealing with different types of buyers, and really stood up for us when there were unreasonable requests. They helped us manage the tedious conveyancing process: chasing solicitors and providing us with regular update in terms of what is going on. They made the whole house selling process much less stressful. In terms of finding our new home, they were very engaging in showing us the property, and were patient in answering all our questions. We requested two more viewings of the property after made an offer, and they were just as patient and helpful as we haven’t made an offer. In fact, we have learnt lots of great ideas on property improvements from them, and are implementing some of them right now. A big thank you to Breda, Jacqui, Lucy, Debbie and Helen for taking good care of us throughout the whole process, and we would recommend to them to anyone in a heartbeat!
18th Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)I purchased a house from Shenley Estates and although selling and buying a house is far from a pleasant experience, Shenley Estates get the job done. Although Natalie was working on behalf of the sellers, I believe that from when I viewed my house to the actual completion, it mattered to her that I was matched well and that my future happiness was also important to her. I have been living in Shenley since January, I love the area and everyone I have met so far have been lovely. I am enjoying making my new house a home, thank you Natalie and Craig.

19th Feb 2026 (22 weeks ago)My experience with Latimer was alarming and left me feeling intimidated and unsafe. Communication was aggressive and hostile, and I was spoken to in a way I consider insulting, demeaning, and professionally unacceptable. The level of pressure and intimidation I experienced was so severe that I needed mental health support afterwards.<br><br>They attempted to keep my deposit using claims I dispute as untrue and unsupported by evidence. When I asked for everything to be handled properly through the formal deposit protection process (where the deposit is registered), they still obstructed and did not engage in a straightforward, evidence-based resolution. Instead, it felt like pressure and bargaining to make me accept deductions.<br><br>If you have paid rent in advance, be extremely cautious. Despite money already being paid, I was still told I “owed” the landlord. I was also given information about what I could and couldn’t do to escalate, and what “regulators say”, which did not match what I later found when checking official guidance myself — and it felt like this was being used to discourage formal escalation.<br><br>I escalated because this conduct cannot be ignored — they have to be dealt with through formal processes.<br><br>If you rent through Latimer, protect yourself: keep everything in writing, save every message, log every interaction, take dated photos/videos, keep inventories and receipts, and insist that any claim against your deposit is proven through the scheme’s formal dispute route. Based on my experience, the way this was handled fell far below what any tenant should have to tolerate.
10th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Terrible communication, we waited over a year for a repair, another time a random person was sent and not a professional to deal with infestation, or they ordered a new oven without even checking the size so when it arrived it wouldn't fit.. I'm so glad the landlord finally decided to cancel the contract with them.

13th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)Ignoring all issues, at once we had blocked drains, washing machine, drier, smoke alarm, freezer, lights tumble drier problems. None of the above were working, took them 8 months to sort some out and some still left behind. Rent is up by 6.5% every year and no service provided. Highly recommend not to use their services

23rd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Dealt with Malcom (Steeden) and Matt in his absence. Malcolm was responsive and showed a keen interest to be involved with the sale. Gave some constructive advice, which we followed and delighted with the results both in terms of the viewing, all undertaken by Goadsby, and the follow-up to these. End result was a sale effected quickly at a price in excess of our expectations. Very pleased with the regular contact and overall experience.

We bought the property through them 5 years ago and were so happy with our purchase journey that we went straight to them to sell the house as well. 14th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)DO NOT trust this company if you are a renter. We moved into a flat with the stated intention of living there longterm, and as soon as we moved in, there were serious and major safety issues (exploding plug sockets, broken appliances, dangerous floor-level windows that opened to a sheer fall). Despite our intention to stay longterm, the landlord clearly had no intention of actually doing his job. He was slow and unresponsive on high-priority repairs, and the HSC staff were little help. He put the house on sale within a few months of living there, then issued a no-fault eviction notice, which rendered most of our time in the flat into a de facto show home. Aside from the general rudeness and incompetence of the staff, it is crystal clear to me that — if you are a renter — Hurford Salvi Carr have no interest in you, other than to siphon as much money out of you as possible. Avoid at all costs.

It felt like she truly cared about us and the seller and she was always on hand to talk to us when we needed. Everything was smooth and thought through and the welcome gift when we picked up our keys was such a kind touch. Thank you Alex and the team!!

Jane and Gary are absolute professionals and you get honest advice and consistent communication throughout the process.
