They have me good advice when I needed it and their frequency of communication and responsiveness throughout the process was excellent.<br>The standard of their publicity material was also very good, particularly the quality of photography they use—much better than many other estate agents. I haven’t hesitated to recommend them to local friends.

I was particularly impressed with Kristina's swift and precise communication, as well as her knowledge of the development and the property. I have bought and sold properties in Farnham through Hamptons over the last 25 years, and this encounter was up to their usual high standards. Thoroughly recommended.

1st Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)I have bought and sold through Charters in Alton on a few occasions now, they are extremely personable and go the extra mile to provide an exemplary service - they make the effort to understand what I want when I am looking to purchase, and again when selling they have never let me down, they have amazingly sold more than one property for me immediately to the first person who has viewed. (This backs up that they do not waste peoples time, they get to understand what you are looking for and match you to a property - this is only achievable when you are an expert in your job!). Charters Alton are totally friendly, professional and informative with a nothing is too much trouble approach - this has been proven by Sarah, Jane, Toby and not forgetting Lisa who is part of the progression team. I would only ever go to Charters as first port of call when it comes to selling my property. Well done on completing the sale and purchase for me, fabulous as always, and once again you never let me down!

3rd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)First experience with Connells. Me and my partner got booked in for a viewing of a letting property . We arrived on time yet no one was there to show us around. We waited there for half a hour and attempted to make contact several times and nothing. I’m still trying to get in contact today and still nothing the viewing was now 3 days ago and I still haven’t received any further information. Please don’t expect anything if you get booked in for a viewing and just stay clear because you will end up wasting your time. Thanks.

31st Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Dreadful company: the Lettings manager, Mubeen, was so charming when he wanted the listing, but, once he got it, he then proved inefficient and uninterested. The company has a revolving door of young, inexperienced people, so landlords don’t know who to contact, even during a let. We had to sort out all the problems ourselves and keep in contact with the tenants, as, like us, they couldn’t never get through to the assigned agent, who was changed the day after arrival anyway. Mubeen and his team are masters in ghosting clients and payments were late. We had damage we reported with photos, but never heard back from Foxton’s. Awful, unprofessional company. Best use a different agency, there are plenty out there.
