I was in love with a property we thought we wouldn’t be able to purchase however GD referred us to their broker who helped make it happen!<br><br>The team at GD were always easy to contact and Jo in particular pushed for our completion and played a key role in bringing all the parties together.<br><br>Would highly recommend them as an estate agent whether it be buying or selling.

11th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.

Fiona, Jay and David have been absolutely amazing — extremely helpful with every issue or enquiry we’ve had, and always so friendly, kind, and professional and very quick to resolve things as well !! I’ve rented many properties over the years, and I can honestly say these are the best agents I’ve ever dealt with. They have a genuinely welcoming open-door policy, and everyone in the office has been smiling, approachable, and helpful every time we’ve visited. Highly recommended!

They quickly found tenants for our house and all of them were reliable and responsible. Any minor issues were dealt with by the members of the ET team effectively. Always professional, approachable and provided a first class service. It made the house sale process very easy and stress free. A big THANK YOU for all your help and support - Nick you were amazing always there to answer my questions and give independent advice when it was needed. I felt your attention to detail was fantastic. Conner and Rhianna were always friendly at the end of the phone when I needed to ask questions along the way. I only met Conner in person when I handed the keys in prior to the exchange. But was taken aback when he remembered a small detail about the house - that showed he cared and had a good attention for detail. It was a long process from our first meeting and completion; due to a delay in Probate being granted - but I can honestly say I felt you guys were always there to support me and keep me up to date with relevant developments. I defiantly chose the right team to sale my house and would recommend you in future.
30th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Just moved into a property at the arts centre managed by these guys. The place is so dirty, I’m hiring someone to come clean , bathroom door is broken, freezer doesn’t seal, downstairs shower doesn’t work but apparently we were made aware at the viewing that the place was old so these are acceptable. At the viewing they were still working on the place painting so you’d assume the work would be to bring the place to par and one would also assume it would be cleaned and brought to standard before tenant moving in but it’s a struggle having conversations with the agent (either over email or phone) he’s quite unlikeable and combative, he’s default mode seems to be deflection or obfuscation instead of just acknowledging or trying to listen. Every time I’ve spoken to him, he’s repartee has been you were told, I’ve barely interacted with him. Literally the first day I’m in the property and the relationship is already sour. Don’t use these guys if this is the standard. Honestly it’s amateur hour. I tell him I’m going to review the place against the inventory his response was you were told at the viewing the place was older, implying I should just accept the inventory as is and any broken stuff as normal (including ventilators in both bathroom not working, which is illegal) such insane and condescending responses from a “senior consultant” ??????.- 24th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)Jake and his team provided an exceptional service. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process - always responsive, clear, and proactive. What really stood out was their genuine approach to sales negotiation. They provided honest advice, managed expectations well, and worked hard to achieve the best possible outcome. In an industry that doesn't always enjoy the best reputation, Fry Estate Agents are a real breath of fresh air. They combine professionalism with integrity, and it's clear they genuinely care about their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent you can trust, Fry are an excellent choice.

They also refused to allow us to move onto a rolling contract so they could continue to collect the renewal fee every six months. They ended our tenancy saying the landlord wanted the house back, when we left it was back on the market with an increase in rent. We got our full deposit back and were good tenants.

16th Mar 2026 (17 weeks ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
