20th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Avoid to rent with this agency !<br>We just ended our tenancy with them , they asked us to pay another day after our tenancy finished , then they charged us almost half for insignificant repairs, we left the flat very clean , almost as new , but me personally i know that when you rent a new property is normal to don’t expect to be as new if someone is living in that house … we don’t say that while we were living there we had so many issues with street guys entering into the building, stilling bikes , knocking at the door late night …the only good thing that it was in that apartment it was to see our daughter growing there .. avoid this agency!

He took the time to answer all of our questions, was always easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and straightforward. Christian was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

Brices were always quick to address any issues, always responded to emails and calls and acted fairly and professionally as an intermediate between myself and the landlord. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fair and genuine letting agents. Thank you Louise.

They have always given and continue to give, exceptional service from the very start until a new tenant is in place. We are kept informed every step of the way and any queries are answered quickly. Caroline and Tracey always return a call and are very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Good customer service is hard to find but they continue to build their business around this.
17th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Absolutely fantastic service from Matt from start to finish. He never felt like your typical estate agent—more like a friend who genuinely wanted to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always on hand whenever we needed him.<br><br>When our sale fell through, Matt was straight on the case and had another buyer lined up within days. Even the landlady we bought from commented on what a great estate agent he was and how refreshing it was to deal with someone so different from the norm.<br><br>Matt is professional, polite, and made the whole process feel stress-free because I always knew he had everything under control. There were no pushy sales tactics or commission-driven pressure—just a genuinely nice guy who really cares about helping people sell their homes.<br><br>10/10. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt to anyone, and I definitely wouldn't use anyone else again!

Jamie has been extremly helpful ,courteous and very obliging in every aspect making the purchase relatively smooth right up to completion and we are most grateful for all the help and advise offered. Nothing was too much when asked to contact the seller for information regarding the property advise on local authorities and services. we can recommend Jamie highly for his professionalism and attitude for a smooth conclusion of a property purchase S P and BF

I also bought the property through the same agency in 2020, so it was especially reassuring to work with a team I already knew and trusted.<br>I moved out of the UK in mid-July, and they took end-to-end care of the transfer of the asset, managing the process remotely with professionalism and attention to detail. 22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny
31st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We honestly couldn't have asked for a better estate agent to guide us through both the sale of our apartment and the purchase of our new family home.<br><br>It certainly wasn't the most straightforward sale and purchase, with plenty of challenges along the way, but from start to finish the whole team was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.<br><br>A special thank you has to go to Aaron, who was our main point of contact throughout. He was absolutely outstanding.<br>His communication was excellent, he was always available to answer our questions, he kept us updated every step of the way and was proactive in chasing things whenever progress stalled. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and his calm, reassuring approach made a huge difference during what could have been a very stressful process.<br><br>We are absolutely delighted with our new home and so grateful for everything Aaron and the team did to help us get here. Everyone we dealt with were professional, knowledgeable, hard working and interested in not only ourselves as sellers but in our property too. Communication was excellent. Viewings went smoothly. We didn’t have to chase them and they helped us with chasing solicitors. They kept us well informed throughout the whole process, were always friendly when we contacted them and made a stressful process far less stressful! Plus they work really cohesively as a team and if our main contact was ever unavailable, the rest of the team were helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicholsons to anyone - brilliant service. Alex was our main contact and he was fantastic!
