15th Sep 2025 (10 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent

From the initial consultation and evaluation with Adrian who is very knowledgable about the local area, to the very successful marketing of our property, to keeping things moving forward during the sale. We would highly recommend Gascoigne-Pees.

29th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I would very much recommend using Allen and Harris in Witney. Aishah and Jarrod were amazing, constantly updating and communicating with us. Jarrod is still a trainee but would like to say how impressed we were with his knowledge about our house and how he communicated that information to the viewers. He has a presence about him that will make a great estate agent and an asset to the team.

The let involved arranging some preparatory refurbishment and certifications which were all delivered promptly and competently through the agency. All the subsequent steps eg marketing, tenancy arrangements and schedule of condition have been managed with similar efficiency. So far, so good, thanks!

I especially appreciated that she immediately checked whether anyone was asleep in the house, which showed how thoughtful and respectful she is. She carried out a thorough inspection, took the time to ask if we had any concerns, and made sure I was comfortable throughout her visit. Nicola is a lovely person and a credit to your team.

24th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)We can highly recommend Fine and Country Bishops Stortford. Our first initial contact was with Paula who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She put us at ease and we felt confident that our sale was in the right hands. Debbie was OUTSTANDING. In what became a complex, difficult sale, she worked tirelessly to resolve all the issues that emerged. She initially introduced our buyers, who had seen our property but weren’t sold on the garden size. She encouraged them to take a look and they fell in love with it. Her communication skills are excellent and she kept us informed every step of the way. I really think that without her relentless input we may have thrown in the towel. The last few days were very stressful with mortgage offers expiring, vendors going back on original agreements and short windows of time, however, Debbie came through for us, even whilst she was ill. Thankyou so much for your effort and hardwork!!!

27th May 2025 (1 year ago)I'd needed to make a claim (upheld by the Property Ombudsman) against another local estate agent, who had dragged out and delayed this 2019-20 (probate) sale, in order to favour their buyer. After the above delay and attendant loss of several potential buyers was stopped in its tracks, with Miles & Barr being appointed to clear up the mess, they delivered a sale (and with yet more delays around the rent-a-roof solar panels installed by our parents - but they got there in the end), albeit at a lower price than we'd initially hoped for.

He is very knowledgeable and provided us with loads of useful information, given it was our first rodeo.<br><br>Our agent, Jessie, showed us the properties we were interested in, taking note of our needs and interests. She was very proactive and handled our case expertly, updating us along the way and translating all the jargon used between solicitors for us, making our lives easier.<br><br>I can't recommend them enough. If anyone asks me for an estate agent/agency, you'll be my first recommendation.
