Despite arranging a full professional end-of-tenancy clean, including carpets, and leaving the property in better condition than when we moved in, this agency is now claiming they had to carry out an additional clean and that we left the property in poor condition. We have invoices, photos, videos, and email correspondence with Ridgeway confirming the work completed, yet they are still attempting to withhold our deposit. We were reliable tenants — rent was always paid on time, we were flexible with contractor access, and we fully adhered to the tenancy agreement. It’s genuinely disappointing to be treated this way after being so cooperative. I would strongly advise avoiding this estate agent if you value honesty and fairness regarding your deposit.

14th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)Having Louise as a single point of contact made such a difference, attentive, considerate, pragmatic (very much needed in the UK market!) and working alongside you. The journey of selling and purchasing a house can be challenging, however dont underestimate how having the right estate agent on your side can make all the difference. High recommend for Louise from me.

So when it came to finding someone to handle the sale of my flat I had no hesitation in asking them to do the job. They liaised seamlessly with my solicitor and everything went through without a hitch in just 4 months.

The staff have always been easy to talk to, understanding, and efficient in handling any concerns. Learnt after the property was sold that she never contacted the first people who had put in an offer to give them chance to come back with an increased offer. Website should have been a warning not to list with her as its appalling. Not sure how she is still trading!

29th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)We viewed a commercial unit in March 2025. We liked the unit and so were asked to put forward a proposal as there were other interested parties. We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.
26th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)I have just had a building survey completed by Monk and Partners. It was very thorough and clear, with photos to illustrate the information. I found it very useful as a first time buyer. I also must highly recommend Charlotte Higgins who is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to communicate with. I hope that my purchase will be a forever home but, if I ever need to buy property again, I will definitely employ Monk and Partners for my survey.

Immediately upon meeting Carolina, I knew I made the right decision to go with Griffith Nobes. I was immediately put at ease and assured that they would be able to help me sell. From the professional photography to constant communication throughout, they made what could have been a nightmare process into an easy, stress free move. I have nothing but praise for how my house sale was handled and would absolutely recommend Griffith Nobes for anyone considering selling a property.
