7th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Have been in process of buying a property in their estate agents in Sudbury since October last year 2025 we are now in march 2026 they are dragging their heels every excuse under the sun to get it to completion and we are no further forward it seems to me they don’t want this sale completed yet most estate agents work on commission we have been in every day or phoned them to try to get this sorted out we are losing the will and are stressed out to the max and my patience with them has run out it’s just one delay after another I’ve never known an estate agent which drags a sale out for this long Every week they say completion is not far away but it’s been like this for over a month We are totally fed up!!!!!
6th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Wainwrights let out our property for around three years, they sorted out everything from start to finish and we felt we could trust them through out the entire time. Sonya looked after our account and provided a superb and friendly service, taking care of every aspect of property rental for us. We had several things that required fixing during the rental period and Wainwrights dealt with these causing us no problems what so ever, this really is the type of company that knows the property business and we couldn't be happier. Thank you.

As we had never moved home before we felt we were complete novices and to feel like nothing was too much trouble made all the difference. 5th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)As a potential buyer it is very difficult to get through to these estate agents. I have waited over a week for them to get back to me regarding a viewing for properties. They seem to be very adverse to picking up the phone or replying to email enquiries if you are looking to either buy or sell your property I would personally stay clear from this Estate Agent. In addition to this the re occurring theme of discriminatory behaviour is very off putting in the previous reviews as well.

I did find it a bit challenging to get any information from them as they never kept in contact for updates, we had to chase them up each time.- 8th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Amazing agency, in particular Mr. Giancarlo. I found him really supporting and helpful with everything. I highly recommend.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had been renting a property in Ely for the past 4 years or so through Cheffins and have had nothing but a positive experience. They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.
5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Re Sale of 10 Pownall Road, Ipswich, IP3 0DS Dear Kate and Sarah, We felt we must write to commend both Sarah Kershaw, your Senior Negotiator and Riverdale Estates. We were leaseholders of the rental apartment above, our sale completed in January last month. From our first meeting, we knew that Sarah was the person for us. Unlike our two previous agents that were happy to accept our rose-tinted view of what our property might be worth, Sarah arrived armed with facts, clearly showing prices similar flats in the block had achieved, Sarah advised that if we were serious sellers, that was the price area we should be using. It was a sobering thought but we considered matters over a weekend and decided that was very sensible. Our tenants left a few months later and, then free to carry out a detailed inspection, we realised that to attract a buyer in a slow market and with so very many flats for sale in Ipswich, we would need to spend time and money on refurbishment to make our property stand out. There followed weeks of cleaning, a kitchen makeover, re-carpeting and re-decorating throughout. Sarah came back, helped re-arrange the furniture to best effect and took a fresh set of photographs both internally and externally. Her photographs were stunning and the detailed write-up excellent. Within a relatively short time a first-time buyer was found, but Sarah's input didn't stop there. Over the coming months we came to realise just how very important having a good agent is; Sarah's involvement bridged across both sets of solicitors, our buyer and ourselves. Throughout a protracted and often frustrating conveyancing process, it was only Sarah who kept us informed and our nervous first-time buyer on-board. Without her, we have no doubt that the sale would have fallen apart. So thank you Sarah, you were a pleasure to work with. You went the extra mile to get the sale and proved thoroughly professional throughout. It's people like you who help a business stand out from the crowd. Kind regards, John & Diana Beales

They made you feel they trully cared about your sale. I have used other local estate agent but Mapps estate agents are in a league of their own. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Thank you to you all.

11th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)They did a good job of photographing the property inside and out and new EPC certification, as well as dealing with the house viewings when I wasn't present. I don't believe however that they did anything proactive in marketing the property beyond the initial presentation? They never discussed with me premium listings on platforms like Rightmove and Zoopla, and I don't think they "refreshed" the listing (regularly changing the lead image, update the description, etc) either.

Of the three agents that I initially considered, Alex Parish demonstrated the greatest local knowledge and the best understanding of my requirements. I have no regrets about my decision to commission them. Throughout the whole process, from the initial planning session to the completion of my sale, Alex and his colleagues were professional, reliable and always did whatever we had agreed. Their communications were clear and they were responsive to all of my questions or concerns. They were supportive to me personally and showed a good understanding of all aspects of the sales process as well its legalities and practicalities. I recommend Whitley Parish without any reservations.
