I would like to especially mention Rachel, the Senior Lease Negotiator, for her excellent work. Rachel proved to be a true professional and guided the rental process from the beginning to the signing of the contract. Her communication was clear, friendly and always timely. Thanks to Rachel, the process of renting an apartment was easy, fast and stress-free. She was always in touch, explaining all the nuances that we did not understand. I recommend Foxton and especially Rachel to everyone who appreciates a professional approach, honesty and a high level of service.

16th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)What a wonderful experience my wife and I had buying our first home with Stirling Ackroyd. From the very beginning we had Alex showing us properties in the area and was very transparent and honest when showing us around. He was very quick to bring an absolute bargain to our attention which ultimately became our home. For anyone who knows the process of buying a home even if it’s not your first can always be frustrating with waiting on solicitors. However from the sales progression team there was Suzanna who was very proactive liaising with both buyer and seller solicitors to get the job done. I think ultimately it was Suzanna that gave our solicitors the push they needed to finish and for that a very special thank you to Suzanna for looking after us. I would 100% use Stirling Ackroyd again for when I buy and sell a property.

Tracy and the team certainly lived up to expectations all the way through the process from valuation to completion. From using a range of agencies to find a new property I would put Esher Curchods heads above others for professionalism and contact, always keeping me up to date and helping with queries. I then moved to Bairstow Eves and Amy and Will were fantastic and managed to find tenants within a few days. The whole process was very seamless with them and they kept on top of everything brilliantly, would highly recommend them!

Zoe, Gene, Kelly and the rest of the team at Hamptons in Kingston kept me and my potential buyers informed and updated both on the phone then followed-up with emails. They were proactive the whole time, provided advice where I needed a steer (I made the ultimate decisions but they helped me make them). They were with me every step of the way. Their commission was competitive and lower than other agents and well worth it considering the service I received. Outstanding service with a personal touch from beginning to end. Kelly even called me on her day off to congratulate my exchange, really kind. Thank you Hamptons in Kingston.

They moved quickly to get the photos live which helped generate viewings, and they kept me in the loop consistently with updates on feedback, interest levels, and next steps. What stood out most was how proactive they were — they didn’t just “list it and hope,” they actually drove things forward. I’d happily recommend them.

Right from his initial appraisal he understood precisely what needed to be done and the timescale it needed doing in. He priced the property perfectly and marketed it impeccably. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his experience and expertise went over and above anything I expected. The team at Jackson-Stops arranged quality viewings and always gave prompt and honest feedback throughout the sales process. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jackson-Stops Dorking.

She was brilliant throughout the entire process and maintained excellent communication with both us and the buyer. She kept us updated at every stage, which really helped reduce the stress and uncertainty that often comes with selling a property. What truly stood out was how proactive she was. Caroline regularly made sure we received updates from the entire chain, even when it wasn’t strictly necessary for her to do so. As we were at the end of the chain, having that information was incredibly helpful and reassuring. Because of Caroline’s efforts, we were able to keep everyone in the chain informed about progress, which made the whole process run much more smoothly. She was also very flexible and always willing to help whenever needed. Her dedication and support made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier. We’re very grateful for all her hard work and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and proactive estate agent.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)We had a very positive experience with Seymours Estate Agents, and in particular with Jamie Henderson and Clare Bryan. Jamie supported us during the early stages of our purchase and was incredibly helpful throughout. He was always responsive, reassuring, and took the time to guide us through the process, which made a big difference at what can be quite a stressful time. Clare helped us during the later stages and did a great job coordinating communication with the sellers and keeping the process moving. She was proactive in following up on both sides and clearly worked hard to help progress things as smoothly as possible. Overall, we really appreciated their professionalism, responsiveness, and support during the purchase. Thank you both for helping us get over the line!
