7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)AWFUL, avoid at all costs. Even if there is a house you are interested in, still avoid not worth the stress one bit. Go elsewhere. I would not even give them 1 star, but I have no choice. The stress they have caused me in my personal life is a utter joke. Never receive a call back, let alone an email response, told me the incorrect information which I have in writing but still not owning up to their mistake. Beth the 'Manager' does not know how to have a professional conversation, talks to everyone like their pal which is so incredibly off putting. Again no accountability from Will Jones, again or any call backs. I even asked for this to be passed over to a Senior Manager and still never received a call back and apparently she looks after 52 branches! They must all be awful. If I ever see the name Chancellors on anything, I will never EVER go anywhere near them and will make sure everyone knows about it. Respectfully it is like a bunch of children are running this business, which is rather sad really. They need training on multiple things and to hire new staff with a proper manner and know what they are doing. Had no choice but to leave this review, as it is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of them. 2 weeks I have been chasing this up. I have rung 5/6 times this morning first thing when they opened (so no valid reason to not answering - I even tried the sales line too) so I am adamant they are just ignoring my calls on purpose which based on my experience so far, I am probably not wrong about. AVOID!

He is professional, friendly, very reliable and nothing was too much trouble. I am so grateful for his sensitivity, kindness and the courtesy shown to us all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Irfan to anyone!

10th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Sadly not the company they once were; as a managing agent they are chasing me for service charges despite me having instructed an agent and these deatils being advised some time ago. The excuses given were staff name changes amnd absence - seriously? No apology, just a referral to the complainst process. There are far better companies providing these services
11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Sterling Ackroyd were our chosen Estate Agent from the begining of our house sale. They supported us thoroughly throughout the process, keeping us informed and in some difficult times guided us throughout the process, leading to the successful conclusion of our house sale. Rob and Danny in particular were superb throughout and I would thoroughly recommend this branch.

2nd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I instructed Tudor & Co to sell my mothers flat when she went into care, sadly she passed away during the selling process and so we had to pause to go through probate, it became a very protracted sale. Tudor & Co were brilliant through the sales process and all the difficulties that arose, their communication and advive were excellent and they kept the sale together for us. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for the sale of a property.

13th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)I've been with Patrick Gardner letting agents in Leatherhead for 8.5 years now; I'm just about to move into my third property with them and I've always had a very positive experience. Everyone there is helpful, professional and friendly. Evie is particularly lovely and is always happy to answer my (many) questions! When I explained to Evie that I have ADHD she was incredibly understanding; she's very patient, calm and professional - but also really bubbly and down-to-earth which always puts me at ease. I find phone calls hard at times but I'm never nervous when Evie picks up the phone, I feel listened to and understood. I'm truly thankful for her and feel Patrick Gardner are extremely lucky to have her in their team. I look forward to continuing with Patrick Gardner for as long as I am renting. Thank you all of you in the lettings team - you're all amazing. Rosie

He has been great at arranging many many viewings and getting people to come and see our house. Finally, one couple, one viewing and that was all we needed. And we are so thrilled to be buying a house through Charters as well. We've had our sights on this particular house for 3 months and finally Josh has made it happen. Josh was a pleasure to work with. Professional, polite and easy to get on with. Thank you so much.

From the very first conversation, everything was handled with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care. David and Kane both took the time to fully understand our situation and explained all available options in straightforward terms, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. Communication was excellent throughout — I was kept informed at every stage, and any questions I had were answered promptly and thoroughly. Nothing was too much trouble. 7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)Called foxtons Croydon to view a flat in and spoken with Charlie , asked him for and appointment and he said he will come back to me, I made clear that I’m interested only for that flat viewing . After view days received call from them suggested other flats , I did explain to them that I’m interested in other flats but only on this one and still waiting for a response on the appointment confirmation, next got call and we confirmed the viewing . 1 day before viewing received a call that 2 offers are being made below asking price however I told that I still want to see the property and since the offer were below asking price I can still make a better offer . 9:20am Saturday 40min before my appointment I get which says the flat is no longer available that seller has accept and offer on Saturday and they told I will let you know once it’s still available. I has lucky enough to have seller number and I text him and he said that he was still waiting for few more viewing and then he will make a decision so clearly they are doing something dodgy and are not trustworthy as they are lying . First time I experienced such an unprofessional behaviour. I have being involved in many properties viewing selling before and never seeing something like that .

There's a reason why most homes in this area are sold through Seymour's.- 9th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)If a 0-star rating were possible, this is what they would deserve. Our experience with Chancellors in Woking has been extremely disappointing and stressful from start to finish. From the beginning, communication was poor and inconsistent. Important information changed over time, and emails or concerns were often ignored or answered very late. We repeatedly had to chase for basic updates. The property had multiple issues reported during our tenancy, including mould, problems with the check-in inventory report, and not being provided with all the necessary keys — notably the bin area key. We had to chase the agency for two months to receive it, meanwhile walking 10 minutes each time to dispose of rubbish and asking the concierge for temporary access to the separate garbage door. There were also various general maintenance issues that required attention. Despite being clearly communicated, these problems were not handled properly or in a timely manner. The agency was disorganised and unclear, adding unnecessary stress during both move-in and move-out. There were several property managers that changed so many times over 7 months period. The most unacceptable part was the checkout process. We vacated the property on 01/02/2026, handed over the keys, and left the house in good condition. However, the checkout inventory inspection was scheduled almost two weeks later, which is completely unreasonable. Any inspection carried out so long after the property was returned cannot fairly reflect its condition at the time of checkout and puts tenants at an unfair disadvantage. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor organisation, and disregard for tenants’ concerns made this a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this agency and would strongly advise future tenants to document everything carefully if they choose to rent through them.
18th Mar 2026 (0 days ago)In the undeniably English way, I only leave reviews in extreme cases (and let’s be honest it’s usually in disappointment). But Adam at Daniel Adams Estate agents comes under the extremely rare category of excellent. I’m someone that has never sold a house before, and likes to over-research every tiny decision. The unbelievable amount of estate agents completely overwhelmed me, and I arranged an embarrassingly high amount to come and view our home. We met with a lot of very professional and nice enough people but after meeting with Adam it was an easy decision whom to trust with our big new chapter. Adam himself is warm, bubbly and so obviously passionate about his profession that it put me immediately at ease. He throughly explained everything and generously shared his vast knowledge as I plagued him with questions about the process. He is very calm, collected, didn’t oversell or put us under any pressure. He was honest and open about the current housing market, and realistic with pricing strategies. After we signed the contract (at a very reasonable rate), everything went so smoothly. Photographs were excellent, great video and drone footage on Instagram and viewings within a week. I didn’t like the idea of a lot of different agents in and out of my home, but Adam did every viewing, always accommodating the viewers and our time restraints. I trusted he would look after our home completely. He got us offers within a month, and sold at above asking in 6 weeks. After that the Daniel Adams office were phenomenal, recommendations of solicitors (who were also all excellent), surveys sorted so fast the agent we were buying with couldn’t believe it. I once rang Adam for some advice and he answered … whilst skiing! I told him off for working on holiday, but was so impressed by his professionalism and genuine care of his clients. Guy is a legend, don’t hesitate.
30th Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)I've been dealing with many different agencies when searching to rent a property, but only Seymours are worth recommending in my experience. Speedy, professional and transparent from the very beginning. The team I've dealt with (Kez, Olivia, and Ana) have all been super helpful throughout the whole process of renting. Hopefully more agencies can adopt such a high standard of services with no trickery involved.
3rd Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Seymours appear to have very good local knowledge and their offices cover a wide area. I have put good for value for money as nobody likes parting with it! Having said that they did me a good deal. I have put good for valuation accuracy as the situation is such at the moment that the earlier valuation was greater than the market will stand, although online estimates suggest otherwise and are clearly way too generous!
