Friendly, super helpful and professional - I can't recommend her enough, she is superb and an absolute credit to whoever she works for. Wouldn't go to anyone else. Always the best service!!!
7th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)AWFUL, avoid at all costs. Even if there is a house you are interested in, still avoid not worth the stress one bit. Go elsewhere. I would not even give them 1 star, but I have no choice. The stress they have caused me in my personal life is a utter joke. Never receive a call back, let alone an email response, told me the incorrect information which I have in writing but still not owning up to their mistake. Beth the 'Manager' does not know how to have a professional conversation, talks to everyone like their pal which is so incredibly off putting. Again no accountability from Will Jones, again or any call backs. I even asked for this to be passed over to a Senior Manager and still never received a call back and apparently she looks after 52 branches! They must all be awful. If I ever see the name Chancellors on anything, I will never EVER go anywhere near them and will make sure everyone knows about it. Respectfully it is like a bunch of children are running this business, which is rather sad really. They need training on multiple things and to hire new staff with a proper manner and know what they are doing. Had no choice but to leave this review, as it is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of them. 2 weeks I have been chasing this up. I have rung 5/6 times this morning first thing when they opened (so no valid reason to not answering - I even tried the sales line too) so I am adamant they are just ignoring my calls on purpose which based on my experience so far, I am probably not wrong about. AVOID!

16th Feb 2026 (4 weeks ago)What a wonderful experience my wife and I had buying our first home with Stirling Ackroyd. From the very beginning we had Alex showing us properties in the area and was very transparent and honest when showing us around. He was very quick to bring an absolute bargain to our attention which ultimately became our home. For anyone who knows the process of buying a home even if it’s not your first can always be frustrating with waiting on solicitors. However from the sales progression team there was Suzanna who was very proactive liaising with both buyer and seller solicitors to get the job done. I think ultimately it was Suzanna that gave our solicitors the push they needed to finish and for that a very special thank you to Suzanna for looking after us. I would 100% use Stirling Ackroyd again for when I buy and sell a property.
8th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)I’m leaving this negative review because I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Hollie, the property manager at the time. I understand she no longer works there, but during that year she was a TLC employee and responsible for managing the property. Unfortunately, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and communication was very difficult. On several occasions I felt my complaints were not taken seriously. The most frustrating moment was being told that the landlord had refused to carry out certain repairs, which I later discovered was not accurate.
6th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Johnson and Jones Estate Agent were recommended to me to use for the selling of my mother’s property in Chertsey as they were well established in the area and most proficient. Tracy and the team certainly lived up to expectations all the way through the process from valuation to completion. If you’re selling a property and want peace of mind then I would certainly recommend using them.

Clem and his team certainly went above and beyond finding me a new tenant. Would thoroughly recommend them for their professionalism, effort and communication. Well done.

19th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.

We were always updated with emails on the progress, given good advice on the decorations. Everything were handled professionally, even going the extra miles. The finding tenants process was also very smooth and well communicated. Thank you both. I would definitely recommend the service!
23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely horrible experience. Flat flooded with water, bedrooms and beds absolutely soaked in disgusting dirty water, estate agents told us to book hotels and we’d get compensation, never did though. Never gave us a single penny back. Also told us we had to pay full rent even though the flat was uninhabitable. Bodrul was the worst of it, kept promising that he’d get in touch with us about getting us some money back, then never did. AVOID AVOID AVOID, disgusting estate agents with no morals. See the photos attached for the condition they left us in. I had to get in touch with plumbers and workers myself to get it fixed, they did absolutely nothing to help fix the leak upstairs as they claimed it had been fixed, when it was just getting worse every day. One of the estate agents even came over to view the damage, stood in a pool of the dirty water and muttered “get me out of this dump” thinking I didn’t hear him. Absolutely vile. Edit in response to the comment below: Firstly, I find it laughable that you say you acted promptly and actually blatant lie that you attended the same day. I'm actually glad you've admitted about the report being on the 24th of April, as the video and some of the photos taken below (with the water STILL dripping down) were taken on the 29th of April. I wonder how that's possible since you acted so promptly! Don't insult me by saying that my statement is incorrect, the plumbers I contacted were Camden Council's own plumbers. I have the voice note and recordings to prove this, and again, further proof that was me who sorted out the repairs to the upstairs flat. It's absolutely disgusting that you're trying to call me a liar in this situation, as I have actual proof that the statement is true. In fact, you are lying here saying it was Camden Council who told us to book into hotels, it was one of your staff who told us when he came to the flat who told us to submit receipts about a hotel expense! How can you so confidently lie about the turn of events? You've lied about the day it was fixed (I have dated evidence to show it wasn't fixed promptly on the 24th), you lie about who I contacted to actually fix the issue since you wouldn't do it (I have voice notes speaking with Camden Council plumbers to prove this), and you now lie about telling us to book into hotels. You did not relay any information to me, nor did you ever actually admit what the outcome of the insurance claim was. We're yet to ever find out about that, and it's funny that you don't mention that in your response!
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Jekaterina especially was incredibly on-the-ball and always quick to get back to me on all of my many queries as a first time renter. Jekaterina also helped me to negotiate with the landlord for a fixture to be added to the flat before my move-in date. It was very nice to have a team of qualified letting agents in your corner during the whole process.
