Christian worked tirelessly to secure a sale for us and kept us updated throughout the process. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and if Christian wasn't available then Andrea and Alex were excellent too and made time to assist and help with anything needed. The marketing was very good, the feedback after viewings was detailed and prompt. I would highly recommend Clarkes to anybody thinking of selling!

8th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)As an estate agent and a Landlord myself, I was somewhat hesitant when it came to needing to use another agent when moving to a different area in the county. Having sold my own house very quickly indeed to a cash buyer, I found myself in urgent need of a short term rental property while I look for a property to buy. I initially approached one the well known agents in Westbourne and after a truly awful experience, I approached Jamie at key Drummond for help. This was the start of what has turned out to be a great experience for me. Jamie, I can honestly say, is the true personification of total professionalism, integrity and great customer care. He pulled out all the stops and even did the viewings himself after hours. He found me a great house to rent at very short notice and I was in within a week. As an agent myself I know how much work is involved so I did really appreciate his efforts. I am now hopefully buying a house through Jamie. To this end, I can wholeheartedly recommend Jamie as THE man to contact for anything property related in Canford Cliffs whether selling or letting your property or becoming a tenant, he outshines the rest by a mile!

I contacted them to sell my house but felt I left with new friends. - 31st Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I've had recent dealings with Glen. Which i can honesty say, i was left shocked at his tone and attitude! He was extremely rude, not just to me, but to the young tenant that is renting, he has shouted at her down the phone and also just hangs up, whilst you're still talking. I was trying to help a friend's daughter who currently rents a flat with Palmer Snell. Which is her first time renting a property. Well all I can say is the whole experience with them has really upset her and left her feeling very anxious. Since Dec, the tenant has contacted the Canford heath branch regarding many issues with the property. At christmas time, the electric kept tripping, found it was due to an unsafe ceiling light in the front room, the fan in the bathroom, was removed by an electrician eventually, which poured out with water, severe mould in the bedroom, and there is so much more. The tenant has also recently found out they're pregnant, tenant wanted to move out, however Glen has advised they cannot!!!!! Not all of the issues have been resolved and Glen will not help them with a reference for early release, instead he is extremely unhelpful and very very rude!!!! There is absolutely zero customer service by Glen, and when tenant said they struggle and have dyslexia, Glen was not unstanding in the slightest. The point of this review, is because the young adult, is having to stay there due to them not agreeing to the early release, with mould it will cause more health issues, Glen's response is they have a dehumidifier, when the flat is run entirely on electric, with dodgy electrics as it is, causing more expense, hers and her partners belongings, clothes are damp and covered in mould!!! Or the other response was, the young adult moves out and pays rent until they find another tenant!!! So unfortunately we're having to wait for the early release to come in May, but it shouldn't have to be like this and what a poor experience for a young adult to endure in there 1st renting experience ????

On the rare occasions where issues did come up, they were dealt with quickly and efficiently - it definitely made a real difference throughout my tenancy.

I began as a tenant and, with their support, I have just become the owner. I would like to thank them for making life easy for me. I would also like to thank my previous landlord for being so kind about anything that required any action.

She has been with us every step of getting our property from application of our mortgage up to sorting out our insurance and much more. We are proud to say that we are officially home owners and the best part was the process was really smooth and I believe that was due to Mariana's assistance and support. We are still contacting her now if we have questions and she always responds in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who would be in the process of getting a property.

20th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)A wholly unpleasant experience having to deal with Whites as tenants in a rental property. It didn't help that they were also trying to sell the property on behalf of the landlord so were always acting in their interests, and never in ours. We were good, professional tenants that never missed a payment, caused no trouble in 7 years and for the last 18 months had to contend with pigeons living in the roof. The noise and upset this caused us during our son's GCSE exam year was unbearable - not to mention a health hazard (confirmed by a pest controller). Because the landlord was selling the property and we were fed up with the pigeon situation we found another property to live in before we were given notice to leave. This didn't seem to please the landlord or Whites to the degree that despite thoroughly cleaning the property professionally and spending hundreds of pounds in the process, we were offered around £100 of our deposit back and this was after 2 months of chasing it after we moved out. It was claimed we did not clean the carpets, despite the landlord being at the property at the time and meeting the carpet cleaner at the time. (She subsequently phoned him up and verbally abused him but that's another story). The stress this caused us was horrendous. Presumably a ploy to milk us for all we were worth we eventually decided to hold out and supply evidence to the company that were holding the deposit and eventually got over 50% back just after Christmas - 4 months after we had moved out. Not once in any correspondance with my wife did Whites refer to her by her name (either a professional tactic to try and undermine and intimidate or just unbelievably rude), not once did they ever acknowledge making a mistake (such as not forwarding the landlord the cleaning receipts until 3 months later, not including attachments in emails and blaming us for not receiving them, not chasing up things at the landlord's end but pressuring us at our end). Judging by the comments by other aggrieved tenants they aren't likely to here either, just ignore the facts, never apologise and apportion blame elsewhere without taking any responsibility for their actions. It's not in their interests to admit any of this in their reply, so they won't. Reading other reviews I note that some tenants have had a similar unpleasant experience, but unlike them we weren't going to be bullied into just accepting an unfair amount of deposit back. My wife was even advised by Whites that she did not have to be present at the check out viewing which cost us a larger part of the deposit because we were unable to challenge any of the findings. "No evidence of carpet cleaning" was one of the findings which was an outright LIE that both the landlord AND Whites knew was false. "Perhaps you should contact the carpet cleaner to ask why it wasn't cleaned" I didn't have to because I was there. It was never in Whites' interest to be fair to us as they were not only being paid by the landlord to manage the property but as they were also selling it would've wanted to keep the landlord as happy as possible so they could gain their commission from the sale. So if you're a tenant (funnily enough not any positive reviews from them) I would avoid. Life isn't about how much you commission you may earn, or whether you own a house - treat people better. This process was not handled fairly at all - and you know that. We treated you with courtesy and kindness with every house viewing and property valuation you organised as well as every time you came to take photos of the property and yet the way you made my wife feel throughout this protracted process was awful.

The team were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout my tenancy. Communication was clear and consistent, and any issues that came up were dealt with promptly and efficiently.<br><br>I felt well looked after as a tenant and really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled. Very happy with the team and would definitely recommend them.

From start to finish, the whole Link Homes team were professional, friendly, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent at every stage, particularly during the viewings and sales progression. We were always kept informed, and any questions we had were answered promptly. Nothing ever felt like too much to ask, which made what can be a very stressful process feel smooth and well managed. A special mention must go to Hettie and Jack, who were both outstanding during our house sale. Their dedication, responsiveness, and knowledge really stood out and made a huge difference. 19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)We purchased a property through Lloyds in Lilliput. Julia was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, approachable, understanding, and very professional. Julia even went out of her way so my parents could look around the property prior to our completion to settle their curosity, and she was delightful and patient with my elderly father. She even went out of her way to help us with a legal aspect to speed us up on completion day. Even after we completed she kept in touch and genuinely seems to care about people.

We loved that he was the sole agent to talk to which made it more personal and meaningful to us, we weren't just another number to him. From start to finish Justyn was perfect. The most down to earth, honest, estate agent I've ever met. Voice notes with updates in our WhatsApp group chat even on a weekend, very chilled, nothing was too much and is actually quite funny! He is just an all-round great guy. We sold and competed within 5 months and Justyn did a lot of the chasing for us during this time. If you're sceptical about going with Justyn because he 'isn't part of the a big company' I would say that is the biggest benefit, he was the only one to give us information and didn't have to get someone to call me back, nothing was left or forgotten about, we didn't have 3 people telling me 3 different things or trying to pie me to someone else, he had the time to be more personal and he actually loves his job. This isn't a numbers game to him unlike some estate agents we experienced before we found Justyn. We miss you already!! You have customers for life, thank you Justyn. ??????
20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)James and the team have been great from the offset. They have ticked all of the boxes. They are all professional, punctual and not afraid to pick up the phone and tell you how it is, which is a massive plus! I was advised to get in touch with them after being massively let down by another company and the difference in quality of service has been night and day! If you want to deal with genuine people who get the job done then give these guys a go! I have always been told that selling your house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things to do but I haven't found anything to be stressful with these guys, especially given how average the market is at the moment! 5* service, highly recommend!
