3rd Mar 2026 (15 days ago)We were not impressed. The lack of communication being the biggest issue. The last email we received was confirmation of our cancellation and was told I would be called after the weekend on the Monday. I'm still waiting. It's been 3 weeks. It was almost like once they had got you to sign the ridiculously long contract they just whacked it on Rightmove then forgot about it. After informing them of our cancellation we received an email telling us all about the potential buyers they had introduced to our property. The list was huge. Where when and how did they introduce all of these potential buyers. We had 3 viewings in 6 months.

17th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)I had a really great experience with Bagshaws Residential Mickleover, especially working with Richard Gulley. From start to finish, Richard made the whole process feel incredibly easy and stress-free. I didn’t have much prior knowledge about how mortgages work, whereas my wife (who is a conveyancer) already understood a lot—but Richard still took the time to explain everything clearly to me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He answered all of my questions and concerns without hesitation and really went above and beyond to make what could have been a daunting experience feel simple and straightforward. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough—I’ll definitely be pointing any friends and family his way if they’re looking for a mortgage advisor!
7th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Renting with Reign has been a very good experience. Sapna, in particular, makes the moving in process very easy. She is also very helpful and communicative. However, once in the apartment, the team has not been so responsive.

They have been so instrumental in my settling into Derby that I now relate with them as ‘family’. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

Professional, prompt and and knowledgeable - just what was needed. Thanks I would highly recommend Bagshaws and I look forward to working with you again. Jimmy sorted out all the paperwork quickly and efficiently - truly a turnkey service. All compliance documents organised and sent. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I can honestly say that they were amazing, all staff friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent communication and feedback all the way through. You all made the process easy all though it was a sad time for us. Thank you

From the start they were very professional with excellent communication throughout the process. They did a great job with the marketing of my property and generated lots of interest and viewings. My first buyer dropped out but Dan got me sold again in less than two weeks for the full asking price. Excellent service would 100% recommend.
