I sold it quickly and Taylor Cole (Lauren who managed the process) was very pleasant to deal with and overall I received a good service.

29th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

As you know moving can be so stressful, but Demi always found a way to help everything move forward properly. They were very patient with me, and always easy to contact. They accommodated me wherever possible and never made me feel like an inconvenience even though I can guarantee that I was! Thank you so much to both Daisy and Chloe for their help during a very stressful time of moving house.

25th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

We were not just another house sale, Paul was supportive, informative, available even at night time when you may need answers Paul would reply. Thats rare, that's real service with a no problem is too much attitude. He made everything smooth. If your looking for a hands on estate agent who gives a proper service. Then I recommend this company. You will be in safe hands.
18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

What really stood out was the personal service we received throughout the entire process. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile.<br><br>They handled all of our viewings and were extremely flexible with timings, making what could have been a stressful process so much easier. Communication was excellent from start to finish. They regularly chased updates from solicitors on our behalf and kept us fully informed with weekly progress updates, which gave us real peace of mind.<br><br>Paul should be incredibly proud of the business he has built.
