2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold our property and also brought with John german the whole experience was made so easy constantly keeping us upto date with feedback on the viewings we had and working hard to show us property's, everyone was so friendly and tried there best to answer any concerns we had , to be given a dedicated member of staff once we had sold and brought to do all the chasing up was amazing and took the pressure off us (thanks vicky) .I would highly recommend John german and would not hesitate to use again .

After 10 min had a call from another agent saying that we don't have this house.<br>What a positive attitude!!!! Thx for your help!!!! Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!
17th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .

Great communication.- 26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Recently purchased a property through John German and wanted to review this estate agent as been excellent , strong communication throughout the process , Jayne and staff kept us updated weekly and was able to give us feedback and chase the chain involved .<br>I have used all estate agents in the past within uttoxeter and comparing to ABODE there is no comparable.<br>Some agents don’t work to sell your house this agent proved staff are committed and resilient and confident within their roles.<br>Don’t hesitate to use this agent to sell your home , you won’t be disappointed.

Charlotte has a friendly approach which really helps.

Lots of thought and detail is out into their property listings. We paid upfront and were so glad we did. They sold our property after only 4 days of being on the market.

18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
