17th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)I had a really great experience with Bagshaws Residential Mickleover, especially working with Richard Gulley. From start to finish, Richard made the whole process feel incredibly easy and stress-free. I didn’t have much prior knowledge about how mortgages work, whereas my wife (who is a conveyancer) already understood a lot—but Richard still took the time to explain everything clearly to me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He answered all of my questions and concerns without hesitation and really went above and beyond to make what could have been a daunting experience feel simple and straightforward. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Richard enough—I’ll definitely be pointing any friends and family his way if they’re looking for a mortgage advisor!- 15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)The property I was jointly selling finally completed today! A huge relief and a huge thank you too to Heather and her colleagues at Bagshaws Estate Agents. I am not from the area but have bought and sold many properties over the years with varying success. Bagshaws I can confidently say are one of the best estate agencies I have dealt with. Extremely professional, helpful and nothing too much trouble. I would certainly recommend to anyone in this area of Staffordshire. Thank you again.

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!

Once you're not interested in using their mortgage advisor, they come up with various excuses not to allow you to view the property. Going forward I will avoid looking at any houses they advertise.

Struggled to even view properties and getting call backs call back from some agents. Competitively priced but a superior service :-)
5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Abode have been excellent from start to finish. So helpful. There were no ‘extra’ charges for services e.g. 360 room tour; as we have experienced with an other estate agent. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.

20th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We would recommend Bricks and Mortar and would use them again. The cost was great and the photographs/write up used for marketing were excellent. They were accessible throughout the viewing process and responded quickly when we wanted to discuss price and marketing adjustments and actioned these quickly. Once the sale was agreed we were allocated a named member of the team for sales progression who was very pleasant and helpful. Earlier in the sales process they were not as proactive as we might have liked but were amazing in the final few weeks and days when things became more complex and helped us get the sale across the line.
17th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)Recently sold a property with these, I honestly can’t recommend them enough . From the initial valuation right up until the day of the sale the whole team were amazing. The team kept in contact effectively and aired their opinions on proceedings and offer advice to aid with the sale. All questions I had (no matter how stupid) were answered in a friendly professional manner. All viewings on the property were booked and handled by the team and feedback was honest and delivered in a timely manner. Not once was I pressured or hassled into using any of their services but was advised of the services they offered . All the team seemed to be in the loop of the progression so was able to responded to all queries no matter the day I contacted them. 100% these guys would be my first port of call if I was to sell a property again in future.
21st Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We had previously listed with a high street agent and received little feedback or proactivity, so moving to Addison Mead was the best decision we made. Adam stood out from day one: professional, knowledgeable and hands-on. He attended nearly every viewing, provided immediate and constructive feedback, and made subtle but very effective changes to our marketing. His communication was excellent — evenings, weekends, and helpful voice notes — which worked perfectly for us with work and young children. He genuinely went the extra mile, even attending our home to allow surveyors in when we couldn’t. Adam guided us not only on the sale but also offered great advice for our onward purchase. His attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment made the whole process smoother. We’d absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.
18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
