The sales manager James had kindly advised me on this property for a number of years with genuine and objective advice. Pervin, working with James, navigated the sale mechanics, lethargic solicitors and thorny management companies brilliantly. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with and represent a rare breed of estate agents who have much more than just aggressive marketing in their toolbox. Communication was clear and prompt, and any questions I had were answered quickly. Moving into a new place can sometimes be stressful, but Husnain made the process smooth and straightforward. He was helpful during viewings, transparent about the tenancy details, and always approachable whenever something needed to be sorted. It’s refreshing to deal with an estate agent who is responsive and actually follows through on things. Overall, a very positive experience renting through him and I would happily recommend Elms Estates to other tenants looking for a reliable and professional agent.

Mark and team in contrast lined up a tonne of viewings within days of the ad going live. I had an offer the next day. Mark kept on top of the process all the way through, oiling the wheels throughout to keep everything on track. A safe and reliable pair of hands. Definitely recommend.

11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)I recently chose Butler & Stag to find a tenant for my flat and manage the tenancy. I felt that their evaluation of the market and suggested rental price was more realistic than other agents, which meant that the lettings team secured a tenant for the flat very quickly, and their management fees are very competitive. So far my experiences with the management team looking after my property have been very positive - a direct line to someone who picks up, and communication has been responsive and reliable. It has only been one month of the tenancy, but so far, so good.
27th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.
