16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Chestertons Islington is, without question, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The sheer incompetence, appalling communication and complete lack of accountability throughout our experience have been genuinely astonishing.<br><br>Our tenancy and moving-out process was an absolute nightmare. We incurred approximately £4,000 in additional costs, spent countless hours chasing emails and attempting to resolve issues, and were subsequently faced with further disputes over what we consider to be completely unreasonable deposit deductions.<br><br>What makes this experience particularly infuriating is the apparent unwillingness to acknowledge mistakes or take meaningful responsibility for resolving them. The amount of time, money and energy we have wasted dealing with Chestertons is frankly ridiculous. For a company that markets itself as a reputable, high-end estate agency, the standard of service we received was nothing short of disgraceful.<br><br>The only exception has been Alhad, who has been helpful throughout an otherwise horrendous experience.<br><br>I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise anyone against using Chestertons Islington- AND CHESTERTONS AS A WHOLE. I have genuinely never encountered such consistently poor service from any company. An extraordinarily expensive, stressful and exhausting experience that I would not wish on anyone.<br><br>Avoid at all costs.

Terri, our Property Manager, was always very responsive and friendly.<br><br>We had a good experience with SA as a letting agent. They were especially helpful in supporting us - alongside our landlord - to deal with mould caused by issues in the broader building.

28th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have recently moved out of a flat managed by Elms, but wanted to leave a review to flag the great experience I had with them. My point of contact throughout was Nasim, he was always very responsive to any issues I had, making sure they were quickly dealt with. A massive difference from other agencies I’ve had to work with as a tenant in the past.<br><br>Nasim also helped to quickly get me rehoused after an issue in another flat I had been renting, finding me an available property within a day of being told I’d have to move out. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough if you’re looking for professional, responsive, and friendly letting agents.

On both occasions, I faced challenging situations that were handled exceptionally well and ultimately turned around thanks to Polat and his team.<br><br>Their local knowledge is second to none, and their strong network of trusted local contacts is invaluable in navigating the various aspects of a property transaction.<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Polat and the team at Hunters Shoreditch to anyone looking for knowledgeable, well-connected, and effective estate agents.

He is an excellent agent who managed to arrange everything for my flat rental in the shortest possible time. Despite it being a day off, he was incredibly attentive to my needs, understanding the urgency of the situation, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. His professionalism, respectful approach, and efficiency made all the difference. I highly appreciate his dedication and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and committed agent.

Any issues are dealt with smoothly and stress-free. All members of the team (Diane, Russell, Paul, Lenka and Mitchel) are professional and friendly and I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to others in the area.

Thanks to Oliver for facilitating and coordinating the viewings of our property, and setting things up.<br><br>And a huge apprecation for all the hardwork Martine put in toward the end of the journey, making sure we got over ther line to completion. Martine was our guide throughout, and was helping us through some challenging moments, but her commitment and hard work in dealing with all other parties in the chain ensured we were able to get through to the end. She always kept us informed, and was instrumental in pushing other parties (solicitors, agents and clients) to act quickly on outstanding enquiries. And she was super communicative, always willing to jump into urgent video calls to keep things moving. She was our guardian angel. Thank you Martine.<br><br>We would highly recommend Butler & Stag (and Martine) to anyone wishing to buy or sell a property.
21st Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)called them on 3 separate occasions post moving out of a property and getting deposit back, every single time been told the admin team are ‘not at their desk’ and no manager seems to be available either? Does noone actually work at this company during working hours? Poor customer service, cant speak to anyone ever no matter what day or time it is.<br><br>Also their staff have no compassion or empathy to their customers after getting burgled in one of the properties they manage<br><br>Oh and still dont have the deposit back after 21 days of moving out, despite new tenants moving in 24 hours after we left.

15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)I had a really positive experience with Jed Matthews.He was proactive from the start: he listened to what I was looking for and sent me properties that matched my searches, without me having to keep chasing. He was quick to respond, easy to deal with and made the whole process much less stressful. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking to rent.
12th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)?Moving into a recently renovated Prime Land property turned into an immediate headache. Upon arrival, I went 9 days without hot water in my floor’s bathroom and 13 days waiting for working Wi-Fi (this was included in the announcement).<br><br>?The issues didn't stop there. The pre-paid gas ran out several times and, on occasions, leaving us through freezing weekends with no heat and no ability to cook until someone arrived the following week to top it up. There were active leaks, unfinished renovations, and contractors who repeatedly left work areas wet and dirty for us to clean up. The cleaner broke our mop and cleaned his boots in our sink. They tried to get us to remove all our stuff from the living room within 24 hours to turn it into an extra room, I was able to stop this by referring to our contract which included acces to living room.<br><br>?When I requested financial compensation lack of basic infrastructure (as per our contract), I was bluntly told the property was rented 'as is.' Potential tenants should be aware that with Prime Land Property, missing essential amenities is apparently considered normal and not worth communicating upfront. I'll let you decide if it's worth your time.
