While arranging a tenancy, they threatened to pull our contract if we didn't agree to pay within 24 hours, stating the past tenants wanted to remain in the property. We were in contact with the past tenants whoever, who were all moving out of the city. They made a meal out of every situation we encountered them in, and had a horrid smarmy attitude which made any interactions draining. Steer clear unless you're also an energy vampire.
23rd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)AVOID THEM. They will rob you blind of your deposit and withold legal documents they "swear they'll get tomorrow" to avoid giving you your dues. Like many others said they will make dizzying claims about needing professional cleaners. Especially when you hired your own out of pocket to avoid these things. They are rude, dismissive and will trick you into doing everything over the calls to avoid leaving evidence of responsibility before gaslighting you wildly. Mohammed told us to sit outside in the peak of winter overnight when the lock which the locksmith WE had to hire said was "a decade out of date". Took days of arguing to get them to pay us back. It was -5 and mohammed knew full well I was asthmatic. Disgusting business with no morals. Watch your backs, avoid this lot.

22nd Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)I once excellent company completely wrecked by its new owners. The company used to be very easy to communicate with, now its easier to communicate with the dead. They use to be polite, but Northwood regard tenants as an inconvenience. I had eight years of good experiences but the ninth is a mess, and its all because Northwood, the new owners, are terrible. It must have taken a lot of effort to transform a great company into one I am now writing a one-star review for on every platform I can find, but they managed it.

4th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)Just drove 30 miles through traffic to get to meet them as arranged for 5 30 ,my wife drove not quiet as far around 22 miles got there bang on time to meet my wife at the property waited till 5 55 got a text off Lydia to see if I'm still attending the viewing I texted back to say I've been hear since 5 30 as you arranged don't no were to park my wife as had a argument with a resident as we was in her parking space (not a great start ) but there was no one to meet us there to tell us anything anyway it got to just after six and I tried the buzzer on 31 the loom and the guy there was renting and said no one had rang him to arrange a viewing and the place was a bit of a mess so I would have to go back to mai son has

The agency tried to take the money off my deposit for things like lighting bulb that was fully working or normal wear and tear. The people should stop trying to get the money off the tenants in such a disgusting way. Please be very careful as they lie about everything!!

Tom has been great with working around our plans and being flexible!- 15th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)I was sold Westminster Park in Liverpool (Sourced Development Group) through Alesco, working with ERE Property and Will Kettel. Will Kettel presented the investment as secure, claiming the developer had an impeccable and traceable record. Alesco endorsed this, selling me confidence and security. In reality, Sourced Development Group has a traceable record of failings — they cannot even start projects, let alone finish them. Alesco has proven incapable of delivering any real update. They have no communication with the developer, and ERE Property is exactly the same. Investors are left in the dark, receiving vague answers or silence, with no verifiable information on the project’s progress. This is the closest one can be to being legally scammed. I committed funds in good faith, but what I received was misrepresentation, lack of transparency, and no accountability from either Alesco or ERE Property.

13th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid Chante - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service! I am writing this review to save others from the incredibly frustrating experience I had dealing with Chante at Johns & Co. From the beginning, communication was inconsistent and misleading. On several occasions, she said she would “call the landlord” and implied urgency due to another offer being made on the property. However, the flat had reportedly been on the market for months with no interest until we became involved. The pressure tactics felt dishonest and unnecessary. Communication was one of the biggest issues. Messages would often go unanswered for long periods, which makes it extremely difficult to plan viewings in London’s fast-paced rental market. After repeated follow-ups and pushback, we finally agreed on a viewing. I travelled 1.5 hours specifically to attend. I arrived five minutes early at 7:40am and asked where we should meet. I was told she was waiting for a colleague to drop off keys. I then waited outside for 30 minutes. Instead of proceeding with the viewing, she decided to return to her office because she had a meeting to attend - effectively leaving without conducting the viewing. No proper apology, no professional handling of the situation. It is not normal or acceptable to deflect, mislead, ghost clients, or waste someone’s time in this way. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision before engaging with her. I also hope Johns & Co management take this feedback seriously and address the standard of service being delivered.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)I have been a tenant in a property managed by Rooftops Hale for the past 6 years and found them to be exemplary. Both with the swift resolution a couple of things I had contacted them about and with keeping the property up to date with being compliant with the safety regulations. They have been a pleasure to deal with, friendly professional and quick to respond. The contractors used by Rooftops have all been pleasant and professional and able to accommodate timing of visits to my requirements. I don't think I would have stayed as long in the property if the agents weren't as good to deal with as Angela and Karen have been.

19th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I take no satisfaction in saying this is a very unprofessional disorganised outfit. I let my house out through them and initially seemed ok but soon turned out to be a nightmare. Phone calls and emails are very rarely returned or answered, the guy dealing with my house…Sam is off on a Monday so everything is put on hold until he returns and he remembers to get back to you. Payments frequently late without any reason or explanation and to top it all when tenants were moving out after having given notice they left it until a month before to re advertise it which resulted in my property standing empty for 6 weeks. I’ve since changed to a much more professional firm with whom I’m very happy. In the last two weeks I’ve sent an email and spoken to someone on the phone as i needed a tax statement for the year….you won’t be surprised to discover there’s nothing been forthcoming. Avoid like the plague.

From the very first meeting, they were different to other estate agents we’d encountered; extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and completely reassuring. Selling a house can be stressful, but they handled everything with confidence and clarity, keeping us informed at every stage. The marketing was excellent, the communication was consistent, and they worked incredibly hard to secure a great sale for us. At the same time they found us our perfect family home and supported us through the purchase, making the whole process feel seamless. They were always available to answer questions, chase updates, and smooth out any bumps along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was their honesty, dedication, and genuine care. We felt supported by the entire team from start to finish on both the sale and the purchase. Any time I needed support, Bradley handled everything quickly, professionally, and with a great attitude. It’s rare to find someone in property management who actually listens and cares, but Bradley really goes above and beyond to make things smooth and stress-free. I really appreciate all the help he’s provided — brilliant service, always reliable, and honestly one of the reasons my experience with the property has been so positive. Highly recommend working with him.
