5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Dixons and Countrywide have ruined my experince as a long-term renter! Extremely unprofessional and dishonest experience. I left the property spotless with photographic evidence, yet they made unfair deductions under the guise of "professional cleaning." They even charged me for wall damage caused by their own maintenance staff.<br><br>Their pricing is highly inflated—a job quoted at £850 by their own staff but an independent contractor was quoted at £250, which shows how they overcharge both tenants and landlords. On top of that, they dragged out my deposit return for months, ultimately returning it only after making heavy, unjustified deductions. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this agency.

23rd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I’m tired of the spam emails, I receive about 10 emails a day, it’s ridiculous! I’ve called several times to have my details taken off whatever system it’s on as I’ve never enquired or had any business dealings with them yet they continue to email me.

Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

21st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency and would strongly encourage anyone considering renting, buying or selling through them to think carefully.<br>After progressing through the rental application process, our application was withdrawn at the very last minute with little communication or explanation. We were then told that the landlord wanted to increase the rent. Despite agreeing to the higher rent to avoid losing the property, the agency failed to keep us informed of the outcome or provide any meaningful updates.<br>The lack of communication and consideration caused an incredible amount of unnecessary stress. We have two young children and had spent the weekend preparing for our move. We were around 90% packed and ready to leave, only to be left in limbo with no answers.<br>To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint about how the situation was handled, but no proper complaints procedure has been followed and no genuine attempt has been made to address or resolve my concerns.<br>I understand that landlords can change their minds and that not every tenancy proceeds as planned. However, the way this agency handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsiderate and lacking in basic communication. A simple update or honest explanation would have made a significant difference.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency. If you're looking to rent, buy or sell through them, be aware that communication and customer care may fall well below what you would reasonably expect.

The team is incredibly friendly, super approachable, and they genuinely take the stress out of being a landlord. Every time I've needed to get in touch, they've been quick to reply and always sort out tenant or maintenance issues with a smile. It makes a huge difference dealing with a team that is so warm, reliable, and professional. Highly recommend them to any property owner

My rental application was not a straight forward one, and the overall application was unorthodox from my end.<br>Wards worked with me to help me to get my referencing checks sorted, even speaking to them on my behalf.<br>They then also spoke to the landlord directly and I get the keys to the property later this month.<br>All staff have been polite and more than willing to answer any questions.<br>A special shoutout to Caroline who has gone above and beyond to show me the property, answer any questions and deal with any queries or hold ups on my behalf to make this process a smooth and as stress free as possible.<br>The best letting agents I’ve dealt with and I would definitely recommend them ??????
