At every stage the team have been both professional and personable. Over the 3 years I rented my flat, I found myself pleasantly surprised many a time by handling situations with care for myself and my partner as well as their responsibilities in managing the flat on behalf of our late landlord.<br>I feel like it shouldn't be so rare to find such a genuinely excellent all-round agency like this. Regardless, I can promise you this unicorn is real!<br>Many thanks to Charlotte who handled our end of tenancy inspection expertly and with a couple shared laughs.

From the initial valuation he guided me and kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. His proactive communication with the buyers’ and my solicitor’s was excellent. The service I received from Debbie and D’arcy was excellent . They were efficient, attentive and genuinely supportive. I cannot thank Ben, Debbie and D’arcy enough for their amazing support. I wholeheartedly recommend both Ben and Oulsnam, Hagley Road to anyone selling or buying property.
3rd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)My experience with Northwood Birmingham has been disappointing and frustrating.<br><br>?Communication is consistently poor. Emails and phone calls go ignored, and getting a response requires chasing them repeatedly for weeks. It feels completely unprofessional, especially when you expect basic courtesy and responsiveness in return.<br><br>?More importantly, their property management standards are unacceptable.<br><br>After the tenants moved out, the property was left in a miserable condition. I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

25th Oct 2026 (2 days ago)I thought I should update my initial review based on my experience.<br><br>Objectively, the property management team has been quite disappointing in terms of communication. Several emails, including those sent during my tenancy, went unanswered. On one occasion, they promised to resolve an outstanding request within a specified timeframe but failed to do so. Repeated telephone calls also went unanswered.<br><br>Overall, my experience with their responsiveness and fulfilment of commitments has been far from satisfactory.

They would book in viewings without even liaising with us which meant bookings got cancelled and prospective buyers annoyed and frustrated. Removed from market with Oakmans due to the amount of viewings we have was very small. Never received feedback after viewings.
