The teams were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout, and they were always quick to respond to any queries. Their dedication and attention to detail really stood out, and I felt supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend both to anyone looking for reliable and efficient estate agents!

It was quite a complicated process for various legal and lease reasons and took around six months to complete from the offer being accepted. It would have been impossible to get this done without the help, advice, attention to detail and patience of Barbra and Andrew. Barbra particularly went above and beyond what we expected and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)My partner and I recently sold our first family home with Cowell Norford Rochdale. It was a very bitter sweet feeling as we loved our home, but the staff down at Cowells made us feel so much better about the whole process. We had a difficult buyer to say the least, however without the help of Maisie, our sales negotiator and Sophie, our sales progressor the process would have been a whole lot worse. No question asked was too stupid, and they always went above what was asked of them. I received daily updates from them, even if there was no real update, they were constantly reassuring me that they were chasing the relevant people to get it over the line as quickly as possible. Selling and buying a house is a real rollercoaster of emotions, and without Maise and Sophie I'm not sure I would have survived it! Thank you so much Maise and Sophie, you were amazing and are a real credit to the business. I wish you all the best in everything you do!

19th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)I have known Lewis for a number of years as a family friend and always knew he was in the property market. My parents live abroad and were looking for a place back in the UK, so I gave Lewis a call to see what the options were locally. We were after a very specific type of property, so knew it may be a challenge. Within a week my parents had viewed 3 properties and put an offer in on one which is now going through. I can’t recommend the experience enough. Lewis has been incredible and kept me and my parents updated throughout the process. Highly recommended and if you are thinking of moving within the Ribble valley give Lewis at Stones Young a call.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Harrison was very professional and provided honest information. Harrison followed up as agreed and proposed a new house for us to visit. I would recommend Harrison for his customer service.
