From start to finish they took a planned and methodical approach to the whole process rather than just snapping some pictures and bunging it on rightmove and that be it. Chris always kept us in the loop and was happy enough to pick up the phone rather than just hide behind sending emails whether it was good news or bad. If we ever decide to move again I'd happily go with them (the feeling may not be mutual ??????)
20th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!- 10th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)They were friendly, professional and responded quickly to my enquiries. They had someone in mind when I instructed them and in fact a sale was agreed before it even went on to the market! Their sales progressor was then invaluable in making sure the process made it through to completion.

28th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience trying to sell our property with William H Brown was extremely disappointing and ultimately quite disastrous. Before we signed with them, the team were highly proactive in their communication and sales pitch. We were promised consistent outreach to potential buyers, regular updates, detailed analytics, and valuable insights throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, the reality after signing the contract was completely different. Communication quickly became poor and reactive rather than proactive. We repeatedly found ourselves having to chase the team for updates and manually intervene to ensure viewers were actually being followed up with after property visits. In several cases, it appeared that little-to-no meaningful follow-up had been carried out unless we specifically requested it. There also seemed to be a lack of organisation and visibility around prospective buyers. The team often appeared unsure about where leads were in their decision-making process, whether further conversations had taken place, or what objections buyers may have had. This left us feeling as though there was no clear sales strategy or ownership of the process. Given the fees involved, we expected a far more professional, engaged, and proactive service. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated, unsupported, and lacking confidence that our property sale was being managed effectively. In the end, after a few months with WHB and no real leads for the sale of our house, we ended up going with another local estate agents who sold our house within a month. Overall, we would not recommend William H Brown based on our experience.

Michelle was incredible in making sure filling out the paperwork was super easy. Any questions I had were answered right away and I had absolutely zero problems. I definitely recommend using Shires to help find a place to let during your time here.

Sienna and Zita were friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any questions I had throughout the process, all be I had many questions ?????? They made everything straightforward and stress-free, keeping me updated at every stage and ensuring the move went as smoothly as possible. Their communication was excellent, and I felt supported throughout the entire tenancy application process. I would highly recommend Tucker Gardner Ely to anyone looking to rent a property. They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He handled all viewings, generated lots of interest and then was actively engaged and always there to help post-sale too, right the way to completion. I definitely would recommend to anyone.

She helped me secure a house in less than 2 weeks and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Kelsey was incredibly responsive, communicated exceptionally well, answered every question thoroughly (even the dumb ones), and made sure every need was taken care of from start to finish. Her professionalism and dedication truly stood out to me, and it made me want to go through this particular letting agency. To be quite honest, she deserves a promotion! Highly recommend working with her. 10/10!!!
