I've never experienced such slow communication with any other agency. It made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.<br><br>I would not recommend this agency.

19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Very disappointing and expensive experience dealing with Leaders Cambridge. Poor communication, repeated delays, and a total lack of accountability caused significant stress and unexpected costs.<br><br>Firstly, no one showed up to my initial viewing, and during the application process I felt pressured to take out insurance covering the landlord’s possessions before even seeing a tenancy agreement, let alone signing one. I also felt they were attempting to pressure me into using their 'no-deposit scheme', as it was strongly implied that my application would be viewed less favourably than others if I opted to pay a traditional deposit.<br><br>Most seriously, my move-in date changed multiple times at short notice (once was at 4:30pm on the day I was due to move in). This was because Leaders had failed to do the appropriate safety checks prior to listing the property, which resulted in an discrepancy with the EICR certificate holding everything up. Despite assurances that this would be fixed promptly, further delays and absolutely no updates followed after an entire week. During this time, I incurred unexpected hotel, moving, and transport costs because these delays left me with no where to live.<br><br>Still with no tenancy agreement to be seen 3 weeks after paying my deposit, I was eventually left with no choice but to withdraw my application and requested the return of my £173.07 holding deposit as the statutory time frame had long since passed. At the time of writing, my decision still has not even been acknowledged after yet another week and instead I have received further pushy emails proposing new move-in dates (unsurprisingly delayed even further by the landlord deciding to paint the property).<br><br>The handling of this situation fell well below expectations and, as such, I would not recommend the use of Leaders Cambridge.

18th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)Oliver Johnson & the team at Clarke & Simpson have been outstanding. Having sold land & property through them I wouldn't go anywhere else. They're very well established in the area, they have the contacts and they know their customers. Oliver Johnson is a great agent, he's very proactive and spotted a Land Registry issue that could have caused problems but he suggested a solution which enabled us to quickly resolve and complete the sale. He's an expert problem solver, maintaining a great relationship with buyer, seller and solicitors. I rarely write reviews but for Oliver & the Clarke & Simpson team I'm very pleased to say they are highly recommended.

Always a go-to place for Property related Services and Letting Property over many years. More recently Shires sold my remaining Property. The Office Staff have always been professional and caring in relation to me, in what more recently has been an emotive time at the end of an era. In particular, Karen, our sales agent, supported us through the whole process and was fantastic. We can wholeheartedly recommend Intercounty!

This was my first time renting in the UK, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous after reading various reviews online — but Vincent Shaw proved to be clear, transparent, and professional throughout the entire process.<br><br>The team was always punctual, quick to respond to emails, and easy to reach whenever I needed something. Their online system for payments and maintenance requests made everything simple and efficient. Any small repairs needed at the property were handled promptly by good, reliable professionals.<br><br>I'd especially like to thank Alberto, Tsvetana, and Christianne, who I dealt with most closely throughout my tenancy — always courteous, helpful, and professional. The move-out process was smooth and stress-free as well.<br><br>Overall, a great experience and a team I'd happily recommend to anyone renting in Cambridge.
20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Professional<br>I recently purchased a property through carter jonas and dealt primarily with Tony write, from the initial first conversation Tony was extremely helpful dealing with a property that wasn’t always completely straightforward but he was so professional and knowledgeable about the property and the issues regarding the purchase.<br>Tony was on hand throughout the process supporting us with solicitor questions and keeping us updated throughout, which made such a difference to us as buyers.<br>Thank you Tony you did a fantastic job.

We found the property that we really wanted and, although at the time it was already sold, Jade assured us that if anything changed she would 100% make it happen for us and we are now living in our dream home! Could not recommend Jade high enough. The personal touch you will almost definitely not find anywhere else

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

I was impressed that the agent who valued the property did most of the viewings, meaning he was able to talk really convincingly about the property. We sold slightly under the guide price (during a difficult time in the market) but still at a higher price than what other agents had valued the flat at.

The behaviour of the letting agents was extremely unprofessional, including giggling while I was on the phone trying to resolve a serious issue.<br><br>I was informed by Georgia that I would be able to move in earlier, so I made moving arrangements based on this, only for those arrangements to be cancelled at the last minute. This resulted in significant stress and additional costs.<br><br>Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I was repeatedly told that emails had been sent with updates, but they had not been sent, and the landlord subsequently stated that he was not aware of the situation.<br><br>Overall, there was very poor communication, a lack of professionalism and a failure to provide reliable information. I would not recommend Tucker Gardener based on my experience.
