The entire process was incredibly efficient and professional; Sophie was always responsive to my queries and handled the contract preparation and signing with impressive speed. Her communication is precise and consistently helpful—I strongly recommend her! Since moving in, "Helen" has been managing the property and has been equally wonderful. Any issues I've reported have been handled promptly by professionals. Helen is a highly responsible and effective property manager. Great team overall!
22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.- 3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had been renting a property in Ely for the past 4 years or so through Cheffins and have had nothing but a positive experience. They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.

10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Landlords, save yourselves the stress and financial loss: look elsewhere!!! My experience with TuckerGardner has been a masterclass in property management failure at every level, from junior staff to senior management: *Operational Negligence:* Checkouts were poorly executed and incomplete, leaving me to deal with unresolved issues leading to urgent repairs that had to be carried out long after the previous tenancy ended, with no funds left aside to cover them. *Zero Communication:* Simple emails went unanswered for weeks at a time. I had to constantly chase them for basic updates that should have been provided proactively. **Shockingly, it was only when I threatened to escalate the matter to the Property Ombudsman that I finally received a response.** *Exorbitant Costs:* Their fees are unjustified compared to the "service delivered". I have since moved to a local agent for a management fee that is nearly 40% lower. The lack of accountability and technical follow-up is unacceptable for a "premium" agency. Do not trust them with your property!!!

Jonathon combined excellent market knowledge with genuine care for our needs, and the communication of the entire team was always clear, timely and proactive. Jonathon’s friendliness, integrity and professionalism made all the difference. He set realistic expectations, advised us expertly on pricing and strategy, and his feedback and advice was constructive and well explained. Thanks to Vincent Shaw, the sale of our property completed smoothly and very quickly indeed. I cannot recommend Vincent Shaw highly enough to anyone looking for a reliable, savvy and personable estate agent!
5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Ben, Harriet and Ellis all proved themselves to be friendly, helpful, efficient and available during the sale of my property. Having never sold a house before, I have no comparative experience, but I would certainly retain their services again if I were to need an estate agent to act on my behalf, especially due to the ‘personal touches’ - they never made me feel like I was ‘just another sale’ , and checked in regularly with genuine care about my sale and any requests or questions I had along the way. My enduring thanks to them.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

When we first moved in we dealt with Sharon who always managed all our queries in a timely manner. This continued when she left and we dealt with Hayley and Vickey. The team all tried their utmost to insure repairs etc were managed quickly and professionally, this wasn’t always an easy task for them due to matters beyond their control. I would recommend them highly as letting agents. Thank you for all your support, friendliness and professionalism in the past 7 and 1/2 years. K, G and A

4th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had a great experience with Ensum Brown – Royston Branch from start to finish. Ben supported us at the viewing stage and followed up afterwards, making everything feel well organised and straightforward. Once the sale was agreed, Sarah handled most of the after-sales process and was excellent at keeping communication clear between ourselves and the buyers and ensuring everything kept moving smoothly. Fiona was also a great help towards the end of the process and made sure everything was wrapped up efficiently. The bouquet of flowers on completion day was a very thoughtful and kind touch. We would describe Ensum Brown as: Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely customer-focused. We would happily recommend them and would definitely use them again.
11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)They did a good job of photographing the property inside and out and new EPC certification, as well as dealing with the house viewings when I wasn't present. I don't believe however that they did anything proactive in marketing the property beyond the initial presentation? They never discussed with me premium listings on platforms like Rightmove and Zoopla, and I don't think they "refreshed" the listing (regularly changing the lead image, update the description, etc) either.

20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates. Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
