7th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)The property was previously on the market with a different estate agent but no offers were received. After switching to Herbert R Thomas, recommended by get agent, there were a number of viewings on the property and an offer made and accepted. Wish we had used get agent sooner as after switching it was sold within 6 weeks after being listed previously for over 15 months.
17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)We recently bought a property in Llantwit Major which was marketed through Harris & Birt’s Cowbridge office. The purchase depended on us selling our property which was outside of the immediate area.<br><br>Although we were “Sold Subject to Contract” (STC) our sale took a little longer than we would have like but we have to say that Harris & Birt were excellent. They approached the property vendor on our behalf who agreed to wait until our sale was concluded. Throughout this period, Harris and Birt kept check on our progress in order to update the vendor. They were also very accommodating over the same period when we wanted to return to view the property on numerous occasions prior to completion.<br><br>For these reasons, along with their responsive communication, we would have no hesitation in recommending Harris & Birt.

29th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)Difficult to judge when you have had little traffic to view the property with no explanantion as to why? Was it the wrong time of year, was it the advertising (little evidence)? Value for money, we spend nothing. The agency was friendly but lacked in keeping us informed.

6th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Not impressed at all. They cancelled 2 viewings that I had agreed with them. A very lame excuse was made for the first cancellation but they just cancelled the second viewing without giving me a reason. I wonder if they told their clients who had instructed them to try and sell their property for them, that they were turning down viewings from prospective purchasers!!
23rd Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Absolutely brilliant, polite helpful and went the extra mile to assist, I live away from the sale and the Team at Chris Davies have helped with access for contractors etc. and have kept me well informed. Further to the great support they sold the property on the first day!! You could not ask for more ????????????????
