7th Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)I enquired about a property I could comfortably afford, but the way I was spoken to by one staff member was completely unacceptable. While I understand there are legal procedures to follow, there is no excuse for being rude, raising your voice, or speaking to someone as if they are lying about their finances. A second staff member later called and explained the same procedures in a calm and respectful manner, which just highlights how unprofessional the first interaction was. Based on this experience alone, I would not feel comfortable having this estate agent manage a property I live in.

19th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)I have been a client of lettings2sales for 20 years so can speak from experience here , originally met Mike and put a property on for rental which was fantastic and then did the same with a couple more . Always had fab tenants and kept updated to by the team . In latter years have also sold property as now wanting to retire and again have been kept informed on the process . I do not hesitate to recommend letting2sales to anyone thinking of letting or selling and thank Mike , Hannah and Sarah and Sue now retired for many years of great service thank you all .

Thank you for your hard work and making the process so easy. Would highly recommend.- 27th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)Extortion Alert!! I paid £100 cleaning fee after checkout without any invoice or services listed and then they demanded £120. Even after disputing it they are threatening with adjudication and even more fee on top of it. Never explained what adds up to £220 cleaning.
5th May 2026 (3 days ago)Simon and Holly represented the sellers of the property we purchased in Tongwynlais. For reasons beyond their control, the situation was challenging, with absent sellers and a number of issues to resolve. They did a phenomenal job throughout, it felt they were going the extra mile to find practical solutions to each hurdle and well reasoned advice on next steps and timings, together with honest communication from the seller to ourselves. It feels that due to their hard work we are now in our dream house. Would recommend Thomas H Wood without hesitation.

From my first enquiry to securing my new home, the team were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They were always prompt with communication, kept me updated at every step, and went the extra mile to answer my questions especially with viewings and negotiations. The staff’s local market knowledge and supportive approach made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to rent, buy or sell a property in Cardiff excellent service all around!

Having used 6 different letting agents in the last 10 years I can say without a doubt that Peter Alan are the worst and out of all the office in Cardiff the Llanishen one seems to harbour the most incompetent out of them all. We had to get environmental health involved for our toilet to be fixed, toilet that was broken before we even moved in and was stated as broken on the inventory. It took 10 months to get it sorted. They are also terrible at doing anything relating to their jobs, meaning they make all sorts of mistakes that cost our landlord hundred of pounds and more in emergency repairs. Three months after the tenancy ended they are still getting in touch because they know nothing about the property and are struggling to support the new tenants. If you're going to use Peter Alan, at least avoid this office. For your sake and good luck!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

20th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Booked in for a valuation Saturday. The person I originally spoke to on the phone verified with the agent that they were happy to do the Saturday. Rang me back to say they’re happy to. Had two emails confirming the valuation was going ahead - all the correct details. Had to travel for an hour to the property and waited, no one turned up. No apology, reschedule request or anything. Even today when they’re open I haven’t received any communication.

16th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)When you tell any other estate agent that you are no longer looking for a property, they seem to understand. For some reason after repeatedly telling Peter Alan I'm not longer interested, they keep bombarding you with emails and calls.
