Peter went above and beyond to help me with the process and any hiccups along the way , he would be there to help me. 2nd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I can’t recommend Lamb & Co enough for all their help and support over a very complicated sale of my house. All the staff are very professional and friendly and fantastic at keeping me up to date on the progression of my sale. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

My flat sold in no time and everything went through smoothly. I would highly recommend using them. I spoke with an agent called Glenda who was extremely helpful and friendly
11th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)In 12 weeks Only 1 Viewing no contact or feedback from the viewing, passed on to the Auction agent whos opening line "was well this has been an absolute disaster". Not a good experience this was capped off after 14 weeks with a mandatory 4 weeks Notice period despite no action and after a short dialogue this was reduced to 3 weeks with no viewings and 2 lines of communication so i felt punitive action to stop me moving on to a different Agent. 2000+ website hits 1 actual viewing

Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.
15th Aug 2024 (1 year ago)Didn't respond to our emails, allowed us to advertise for six months without telling us we needed an energy certificate which could've resulted in us being fined, took 6 months for our property to be removed from their books despite giving the agreed 14 days notice, didn't tell us the property we had purchased stc had been sold to someone else.

Laura was so easy to chat to, she followed up our enquiry quickly and was really helpful in every way that she could be. Although we didn't buy the property that she showed us. Laura was instrumental in helping us decide on the location that we wanted to continue our search and was one of the few agents that we spoke to that always responded to any query.

They also kept my buyers in place from start to finish which was circa 10 Months so was really grateful for that.

22nd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Having spoken to 3 other estate agents in Clacton, none of whom inspired any confidence, I was relieved and pleased to speak to David Allis who instantly made me feel confident that I had called someone I could rely on. Selling from a distance meant that regular visits to the premises were required and David offered this as part of their usual services which was a huge plus. I’m happy to recommend Blake & Thickbroom if you’re planning on selling a property
21st Feb 2026 (25 days ago)I experienced extremely disappointing service from Richard and his team during our recent purchase, and the contrast with our current agent has been stark. On more than one occasion, Richard stated that he “works for the seller, not the buyer.” While I fully understand who instructs and pays the agent, such comments came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A competent agent should manage the transaction professionally for all parties and ensure the process is handled with care through to completion. We ultimately withdrew after discovering the property was of non-standard construction, something that was not disclosed to us. This oversight cost me nearly £500 in fees, not to mention wasted time and significant inconvenience. It is concerning that an agent marketing a property was unaware of such a fundamental detail. Once our offer was accepted, communication deteriorated noticeably. Calls were not returned, emails went unanswered, and when I raised this, the explanation given was that they were short staffed and someone else had been asked to respond on his behalf. This demonstrated a clear lack of ownership, accountability and professionalism. Overall, the experience fell well below the standard I would expect.

I lost my Mother in August 2024 and employed Chamberlain Phillips to sell both my property and my Mothers at the same time to enable my move to a different area. I embarked on the process not doubting their skills, but believing this would take nothing short of a miracle to happen. From Craig, Lorraine , and the rest of the team in between, they carried me through a really difficult and sensitive time, going way over and above with help, advice and skill. I will never be able to thank them enough and for someone that has gone through around 20 house moves in my lifetime, they are by far the best. Thank you all so much.Harris and Wood - Chesterwell

He was a great communicator, and this continued when Sally took over in her role as 'progressor'. She was often chasing different aspects of the sale, reporting back to us regularly and always responding to emails promptly. Thank you.
