They successfully sold two of our houses and provided amazing service from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly, professional, and dedicated to getting the best outcome for us. We would like to give an extra special mention to Debbie, who dealt with our purchases and was incredibly professional, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. We also want to thank Danny and Ruby, who truly went the extra mile when selling our homes too. Their communication was excellent — they always picked up messages quickly, responded promptly, and made us feel genuinely heard and supported every step of the way. They all worked incredibly hard to sell both properties and gave us the extra care and attention that made such a difference during what can be a stressful process. We’re so grateful for all of their hard work and would absolutely use John Alexander again in the future to sell our home. Thank you!

Peter went above and beyond to help me with the process and any hiccups along the way , he would be there to help me. We were very impressed with their total professionalism and treated with respect at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and no promises were made that couldn't be kept. 2nd May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I sold my house through a separate agent, I was charged probably the going rate, I myself had to do the viewing, chase up and constantly phone them, it was like I was doing all the work, solicitors were the same take your money and offer no support, I bought through Peagrams, and after some initial confusion I went and spoke to them in person at there office, and from then on Amy took control of the situation, and at last I had someone who was honest truthful and on the ball, throughout the whole process I dealt with many people, none of them showed the same professional approach as she did, if I sell my house in the future would 100% use Peagrams, and would recommend to anyone as long as Amy is still there, a credit to your company, she deserves a pay rise.

Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.
21st Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Stoneridge Estate Agents. From start to finish, there was a clear lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic sales progression. We consistently felt that the process was being handled in favour of the buyer, with little regard for us as the sellers. Communication was poor throughout. Emails marked as urgent were not responded to in a timely manner, and updates were vague or lacking altogether. At a critical stage in the transaction, we were left chasing for information that should have been proactively managed by the agent. Most concerning was the failure to properly progress the sale. Key actions, such as chasing solicitors and moving outstanding enquiries forward, were not carried out with the level of urgency expected. This caused unnecessary delays and added significant stress. The buyer’s survey and subsequent renegotiation were also allowed to happen very late in the process, creating avoidable disruption. This should have been addressed much earlier and managed far more effectively. Overall, the handling of this sale was poor and ultimately led to us losing confidence and withdrawing completely. We would not recommend.

Appreciated Rick's time but ultimately decided we are looking elsewhere and know that any of his clients will be well looked after.

2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Poor experience with Knight Residential. From leaving all of our lights on after an evening viewing when we weren’t home that night, to leaving goods in our shed unsecured to then struggling to negotiate even a £1,000 increase in offer from our buyers and requesting we make up the difference. Sales progression was a shocking experience, having asked them to liaise with our solicitor directly to obtain accurate updates, they completely bypassed this and liaised directly with the agent we were buying with, creating some sort of communication chain that we were completely cut out of, resulting in a completion date being agreed that we weren’t advised of and eventually being potentially forced to break chain before our purchase was ready. We moved absolute heaven and earth to exchange on the Thursday with completion the following day, with the potential of our purchase not going ahead in my third trimester of pregnancy, and didn’t receive any sort of communication about this or subsequently any of well wishes. We felt throughout the process that Knights were working in the best interest of our buyers and not their fee payers (us!). A completely awful experience that made an already stressful process beyond what you could ever expect. I would sadly not recommend Knight Residential as your selling agent.

Josh was great with viewings and answering any key questions I had, allowing my large family to visit on multiple occasions. Debbie is honestly the most helpful and kind professional, she kept me regularly updated on the process, chased on weekly/daily basis and ensured exchange and completion occurred around the chain's busy schedules. We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate.
