From the moment of contact, Danny was reassuring, supportive and confident that he would help us secure a buyer for our property which he did quickly. He has fanastic knowledge of the market and strategy for both selling and buying property. After securing a buyer for our property, Danny went on to provide us with key advice and support in the negotiation of our new property. We were very impressed with their total professionalism and treated with respect at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and no promises were made that couldn't be kept. This can be a stressful time but it simply wasn't. A huge thank you to Shelley and Chris for all their hard work. We could not have asked for more from the team and matters progressed so smoothly. We would highly recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you again

Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.
21st Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Stoneridge Estate Agents. From start to finish, there was a clear lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic sales progression. We consistently felt that the process was being handled in favour of the buyer, with little regard for us as the sellers. Communication was poor throughout. Emails marked as urgent were not responded to in a timely manner, and updates were vague or lacking altogether. At a critical stage in the transaction, we were left chasing for information that should have been proactively managed by the agent. Most concerning was the failure to properly progress the sale. Key actions, such as chasing solicitors and moving outstanding enquiries forward, were not carried out with the level of urgency expected. This caused unnecessary delays and added significant stress. The buyer’s survey and subsequent renegotiation were also allowed to happen very late in the process, creating avoidable disruption. This should have been addressed much earlier and managed far more effectively. Overall, the handling of this sale was poor and ultimately led to us losing confidence and withdrawing completely. We would not recommend.

Thank you to Lorraine & Gina for helping us through out the process where we were buying our first property. unfortunately we had chosen the worst solicitors imaginable. They were on the case through out the process even on their days off chasing for us. We would never have gotten the property when we did if was not for them ?? thank you girls. Safe to say if we ever move in the future we will be using knights residential in Colchester ???????????? Megan & Justin

I was kept informed whenever there was a viewing and given honest feedback, they were always helpful in answering any questions. It was reassuring to know they did regular checks on the property as I don't live nearby. I would definitely recommend Blake and Thickbroom.

From start to finish, she has been absolutely fantastic and has gone above and beyond to keep me updated throughout what turned into a very complicated and stressful house move!<br><br>There were so many twists and turns along the way, and at times I really thought the whole chain was going to fall apart. Debbie was always there with an update, a reassuring word and a willingness to chase things up and help find a solution.<br><br>She was incredibly patient, understanding and professional throughout, and I genuinely don’t think I could have asked for better support. We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate.
