9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)I have to say that viewing homes with Olivia really helped dial down the stress factor involved in looking for our new home. She was friendly, engaging and courteous throughout the two visits where she met us and showed us round. I would highly recommend John Alexander Estate Agents because of the professional service we have received.

14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)The company is well-established and has an all-round service to offer. Mise has recently helped us with winding up our tenant's letting and was most helpful in the advice she gave and the actions she took on our behalf. All contact was friendly and prompt. We would recommend her services without hesitation.

22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)With regard to the competitors based in Clacton on Sea, Mike Vincent and Sons Ltd have proved to me they are far the best Estate Agent to liaise with. They are experts in their field but also have very kind, patient personalities; a real plus when you are trying to sell your property with other issues causing extreme distress. If anyone were to ask me who to place their property for sale with I would immediately say Mike Vincent and Sons. I would, publicly, like to give a big, warm thanks to both Mr Ian Hunter and Mr David Gees for all their help regarding the promotion and sale of my property. Many thanks to both you hard working gentlemen (Also best wishes to the newcomer - Lewis).
11th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)At the start, our experience with Saxons was fine. They communicated well with us and regularly asked us for documents and information, which we provided. However, since paying the holding fee, the communication has completely changed. Over the last month, we have repeatedly tried contacting them by email and phone with normal questions, but have been ignored. I have emailed over five times and still haven’t received a response. The person we were originally dealing with is also no longer available on WhatsApp, so we have been left unsure who we can actually contact. We have all signed our rental contracts, yet our portal still says, “We cannot take payment until all parties have signed the rental contract.” We have contacted Saxons about this and still haven’t received a response or explanation. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because communication was good at the beginning. Unfortunately, recently it feels like they want nothing to do with us, which is extremely frustrating and disappointing
16th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Thank you to Nick. We asked for a valuation and Nick was able to do it straight away. Within hours he called us with the valuation explaining exactly why it was that price and then explained the process / options and gave us time to work through the the best route to take. An absolute 5* star service and I would not hesitate to contact them to sell my property. Thank you Nick absolutely great service.

4th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Just want to say a massive thank you to both Holly and Nick. They have been absolutely fantastic and have really helped with our purchase of our house. They have been so patient with us, more than accommodating and fitting us in such late notice for a viewing which I really appreciated! I would recommend to both buyers and sellers. They are genuinely lovely people! Thank you both again for everything!
4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)They lie on their moving in and moving out checks - take a video with you.
Also they make you feel obliged to give good Internet reviews for them.
I'll never forget the 2 years they spent trying to get my brother to pay for an iron mark which was on the carpet when he moved in.
Another house, I left a new washing machine behind, which they charged a £100 disposal fee for. When I said I'd collect it myself they said it was OK to leave!
Very low moral standards of all the staff here
6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Friendly and professional
