13th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)We purchased our property through Savills Wilmslow and the process from start to finish was first class and very professional.<br>Sarah carried out the surveys of the property and assisted with the negotiation then Lucy saw the process through from there maintaining dialogue with us, the estate agents and the solicitors.<br>They were always able to assist promptly with any questions and requests we had making sure the whole process went as smoothly as possible.<br>Overall I would highly recommend Savills when thinking of buying or selling your property.- 20th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Fantastic service with great attention to our personal requirements. Sold our property within a couple of months but had the most demanding cash buyer, who wanted everything done at her pace. Andrew and the team handled everything quickly and professionally, even though we were getting extremely frustrated with her demands. Sale completed and a big thank you to all. Would definitely recommend ??????
22nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)My experience with Bagshaws Bakewell was consistently poor from start to finish.<br>Across the full 20?week contract, the property generated only four viewings, and no meaningful strategy, communication, or performance management was provided at any stage. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, no feedback from any viewings, and basic actions, and there was no proactive attempt to address the lack of progress.Despite the clear underperformance, Bagshaws insisted on enforcing the full contract term, offering no flexibility and no review of their service. Even removing the listing required multiple follow?ups before anything was actioned.I have since submitted a formal complaint to the Property Ombudsman (TPO) regarding the service, communication, and contract enforcement.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bagshaws Bakewell.
10th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)I arranged my mortgage through Olivia for my first home and she was so, so helpful. She took her time explaining things to me and went through options in detail, answering all of my questions and helping me secure the best deal. I definitely recommend!
15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)We were on the market for 7 months with SB during which time we had fewer than 1 viewing per month. Only one of these resulted in an offer and that offer was unacceptable.

From start to finish, Lisa went above and beyond to guide me through the process, staying professional and supportive, even with the unexpected delays. I truly believe the sale wouldn’t have completed without her efforts. Lisa’s communication was excellent, keeping me informed at every stage. I’m so grateful for all her help and would highly recommend her and the team.

18th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)I was selling my mum and dad’s house. Sadly mum passed away and dad had to go into a care home. So having to sell the home in which I grew up in was very difficult. Thomas was amazing he and his team helped me through a very difficult time. The sale went through with out any problems. But after the sale Thomas knocked on our door and gave me an amazing picture of my mums house. It was so thoughtful but more than that it has given me something to keep. I don’t think any estate agent could have done that to someone who is having difficulty selling their parents home. All I can say is thank you so much Thomas and your team Karen

4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Bricks & Mortar dealt with the sale of my house and were so helpful throughout, keeping me updated and always being there if I had any questions.<br><br>After dealing with other local agents, these are definitely the best in the area. It was so refreshing not to have to constantly chase for any news and they genuinely had my best interests at heart. They were always on hand with good advice and most importantly, always honest and upfront with me.<br><br>The whole process was made so much easier thanks to them. The whole team are a credit to the business. Thank you!

18th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

30th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)We chose Purple Bricks as they were the most responsive of 3 agents, pleasant to deal with and efficient. They were the lowest of the valuations but I believe it was priced to sell. We arranged the viewings ourselves but it was easy to do. The only gripe I have is that the person who was handling our sale changed and we weren't informed also when I phone there is sometimes a long wait. However the process on the whole has been efficient so far and we received an offer pretty quickly.

31st Jul 2026 (24 days ago)Very poor communication, and I regret paying for their service.<br><br>After taking my payment, I sent numerous emails simply asking whether it had been received, yet received no response. That level of communication is disappointing.<br><br>Following the survey report, I was particularly concerned about Japanese knotweed and bamboo. The report stated that there was “no evidence of such plants within the grounds of the property.” For peace of mind, I emailed several times asking them to confirm this, but again, I received no reply.<br><br>Then on completion day, I discovered bamboo shoots growing in my garden.<br><br>Whether they were missed during the inspection or not, the complete lack of communication after I raised my concerns was unacceptable.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and would advise others to look elsewhere.

Throughout the whole process they were the most efficient and lovely people to deal with that actually went above and beyond helping us secure our sale and see it through to completion as smoothly as possible.<br>We dealt with Ross who valued our house and started the process who’s always great and then Lucy and Becky throughout the rest of the process and they were absolutely brilliant. Both absolute forces to be reckoned with and exactly who you want during an already stressful process! Have been and will continue to recommend Haus to everyone we know, thank you so much again.
