6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Far more than just a local estate agent in the Cotswolds area, Murrays punch way above their weight and run a first-class operation that matches buyers and sellers with remarkable precision. A buyer for our cottage was found pretty quickly from their list of quality clients, but the subsequent sale process was far from straightforward - listed buildings (as most are in Painswick) throw up all sorts of complications, such as missing consents & permissions that cut-price conveyancers pounce on with glee. James Murray and his colleagues displayed infinite patience, charm and diplomacy to keep the sale on track. Thanks to them the unncecessary legal obstacles were overcome and our sale went through for a good price in a weakening market.

23rd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I can't recommend Sawyers highly enough, and after many years as one of their tenants I say that from experience, not just politeness.<br><br>What sets them apart is the personal touch. This never feels like a faceless letting agency — Steven and Helio know their tenants and landlords, and they treat both fairly.<br><br>Steven is meticulous: safety checks are always done properly and on time, and you're never left chasing paperwork or wondering whether something's been covered — copies are always provided without having to ask.<br><br>Helio deserves a special mention of his own. He's super efficient, but it's the kindness and empathy alongside his good humour that make him stand out.<br><br>Although it's a rental property, Steven has always said it's our home while we live in it, and that's exactly how they've treated it. Reasonable requests and updates get properly advocated for.<br><br>When maintenance issues have come up, they've used local tradespeople who've been friendly, reliable, and done a genuinely good job.<br><br>I've had personal experience of Sawyers going the extra ‘many miles’ when it really mattered, at a time when that support meant more than they probably realised. They're kind, flexible whenever they're able to be, and I've never doubted that they care about their renters as people, not just tenancies to manage.<br><br>If you're weighing up a rental property and one of them is managed by Sawyers, choose that one. They will look after you and your home, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a long-term, trusted letting agent.

27th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)We changed to Perry Bishop after being with another estate agent for 5 months and not having any viewings for 3 months.<br>We straight away had more viewings once we were with Perry Bishop and Mandy was amazing in finding us the perfect buyer for our house. Not only that, Shirley then found us our dream home, we honestly believe if we hadn't changed to Perry Bishop when we did , we would have struggled to sell our house and would have missed out on our dream property. A big thank you to Shirley, Mandy and team.

Her communication was 10/10 - she was always available by phone, even outside of normal working hours, and nothing was ever too much trouble.<br><br>She made what can often be a stressful process feel completely seamless and straightforward. Her professionalism was evident throughout.<br>I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

They helped us through every step of the process, kept us informed but weren't too intense either.<br><br>Beth worked so hard to get our sell and buy through, and I truly believe she was instrumental to bringing the process to a close quicker than we expected it to be.<br><br>They are professional, but also kind and sympathetic to the stresses of moving. The team have invaluable knowledge and I would recommend them to anyone thinking of moving!
6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)We Bought our first property through Tg and we rented off them for 5 years a couple years previous.<br><br>Rental side: of things where always good, even when we had problems and inspections where non invasive and if you wasn't in they would always leave a note to say it's been done.<br><br>Buying side:<br>(Brutal process of no fault to TG it was a long winded leasehold management company issue)<br><br>as 2 first time buyers it was a complete unknown even with speaking to a friend and my uncle who are mortgage advisors, Warren was on time and brilliant with my girlfriend on a viewing and replied as quick as he could, as by god he's busy!<br><br>Frequently we would then chase issues or for information from the seller through Meghan at TG and she had been faultless, always cheery on the phone which through the process from hell we was going through it was well appreciated, sympathise with every hurdle and got to the bottom of the nitty gritty enquiries at the end.<br><br>I think by the end of the process all parties had enough of the delay for what should of been a simple transaction as we sure did!<br><br>Thank you TG for having patience with us, and for the information provided along the way!

Clare goes above and beyond to ensure everything is actioned in a timely manner, to keep everyone in the loop, to follow up questions, sort out issues and to keep facilitating communication between all relevant parties, including the professionals. Often beyond what the job description requires. Thrown in with her professionalism is a great sense of humour.<br>There is a great support act from all the team at Peter Joys.
2nd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We had a good viewing experience with Karen and communication with Helen was brilliant - very helpful and responsive with an issue we had after offer accepted. Communication with Sam was good, however we did have a negative experience with her early on where she spoke to my other half and our mortgage advisor very rudely because we chose to move our survey to a different day. Exchange and completion went smoothly and overall I would recommend Perry Bishop Tetbury to others.

We were shown 2 houses by the team and each member was very knowledgeable about the properties we were shown. The second property was not on our radar, but we were offered the opportunity to view and purchased it in the end. We felt supported by Hunter French throughout the process and greatly appreciated their professionalism and kindness along the way.

From the initial consultation right through to exchange, they were absolutely fantastic — professional, approachable and genuinely supportive throughout.<br><br>Communication was excellent at every stage, and we always felt informed, reassured and in very safe hands. Their advice was consistently sound, honest and well judged. In particular, when it came to considering a price reduction, they offered thoughtful, sensible guidance without ever being pushy, which ultimately helped us achieve our sale.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt that they genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for us. They looked after us from the beginning to the end, overcoming any problems and relieving us of the anxieties related to the buying/selling process. Great communication throughout, with nothing being too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again should we need to.
