22nd Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with the rental agency. I was a tenant with them for five years, during which they conducted quarterly inspections. On each visit, no significant issues were ever raised, and I was never informed of any major concerns regarding the condition of the property.<br><br>However, at the end of my tenancy, they suddenly presented an excessive number of alleged issues and proceeded to deduct over £1,600 from my deposit — ultimately returning nothing at all. This was both shocking and deeply frustrating, particularly given the lack of prior complaints throughout my tenancy. The situation feels unfair and unjustified, especially after maintaining a long-term and seemingly trouble-free rental history with them.

10th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)Not a great experience - spoke to lady on the phone who was not overly helpful. Was not able to give a rough commission % because apparently they don’t do this over the phone. This is fine but have spoke to multiple other estate agents that have been a lot more helpful and have told us if they are able to match the % rate of the current estate agent we are with, or at least give a rough estimate % before organising an appointment to visit us. Didn’t want to waste ours, or their time by scheduling an appointment for them to come out and then find out that it is a high commission rate, for us to then not go ahead. Just a little bit frustrating.

His communication has been excellent, always available, and very easy to talk to, especially when it comes to dealing with any questions or issues along the way. He’s made the whole process feel much less stressful, and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. Honestly, I wish everyone had an estate agent like Cameron. He’s a huge credit to the company! Jennifer and Clare at Surrey Abodes were not only very professional at all times but were also mindful of the stress I was under and never rushed me or put me under any pressure. They were kind and considerate. Clare would make sure I was update with everything and explained and advised in a way that was easy to understand. They will be honest with you about your property but there is no hard selling tactics. 3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!
