They were very professional but at the same time friendly and approachable. Their knowledge of the Surrey Hills was extremely helpful with out of area buyers. I would not hesitate to recommend them !

Esme Webster-Brooks was our key contact and throughout the process was extremely professional, proactive, helpful, reassuring and gave some very useful advice. The service was above and beyond, including visiting the property for insurance and survey purposes when we couldn't and doing the final meter readings. Everything happened in a timely fashion (where it was in Curchods control) and we are very pleased with all the team and all that they did for us.

8th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

From my very first contact Edward was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Edward and his team made the whole process very straightforward and at all times they kept me well informed with rhe process.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend Roger Coupe, and in particular Edward in regards to selling a property.

Paul and George took over from our HA nominated estate agent (it was a shared ownership sale) and after 2 weeks with ace marketing and plenty of viewings we had a buyer. Their local knowledge really paid off. Communication was prompt and nothing was a bother for them throughout the sale process. Would recommend and certainly use again.
1st Oct 2026 (26 days ago)WARNING TO TENANTS: Know your legal rights!<br><br>Be incredibly careful if you are ending a tenancy through this agency. They are currently giving out incorrect legal advice and misapplying the Renters’ Rights Act 2026 to the financial detriment of tenants.<br><br>Staff members are claiming that the new law retroactively forces a two-month notice period on everyone. This is legally wrong. Under the Act's official transitional rules, pre-existing contracts signed before May 2026 that allow a shorter (one-month) tenant notice period remain completely valid.<br><br>By misrepresenting the law, this agency tried to trap me into double-paying rent. Check your original tenancy agreement, protect yourself, and do not let them bully you into extra payments. I have had to escalate this formally to their Managing Director and will be taking it to the Property Ombudsman if it is not resolved immediately.

I’m so glad we put our house sale in their capable hands.<br>They were very professional but also so friendly and approachable.<br>Despite numerous problems along the way , the always sorted everything and soothed our nerves .<br>I would thoroughly recommend them to buyers and sellers. Selling a property is a complex process involving managing and translating those conversations between the seller, the buyer and solicitors. The estate agent plays a vital part of this negotiation and people management to help things go smoothly. I would much prefer to use a bricks and mortar agent over an online model to help take the sales management off the seller's hands. Kat Mroz was my negotiator and proved to be a total expert and pleasure to work with during this process - always calm, patient, professional and adept at keeping things moving throughout any unplanned challenges, which can sometimes occur. A huge thanks to her, as well as to Charlie and all the team!

We both bought and sold through them, and the whole experience was professional, friendly and straight forward from start to finish.<br><br>One thing that really stood out to us when choosing an agent was the quality of their property photographs. They present all their houses beautifully and really set themselves apart from the competition.<br><br>Communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt looked after and kept informed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Damian and Zac. A fantastic service all round x

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.
27th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.

Friendly and professional, with a sense of calm and good humour and excellent communication that ensured everyone was kept updated at every step of the way. Whilst we have no intention of moving again any time soon, we will contact Gavin again when the time comes and would recommend the Cranleigh office to anyone considering a move.
