1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)From the first contact over the phone to the viewings and subsequent sale of the property to myself, Rachel and the whole team at F&C have been amazing to deal with and professionally excellent. Rachel was understanding of my position as a buyer and really relaid that the vendors which lead to the acceptance of offer that all parties are very happy with. It has been a great example of how to deal with both parties involved equally to maximise the outcome for both. Couldn’t recommend enough!

She also went above & beyond by taking the time to source an unrelated Professional for me as I wanted personal recommendation rather than a random online search.

The communication was awful, even after asking for someone to contact me to discuss matters my requests were ignored. When I decided to leave, no one bothered to ask me why. Strange behaviour for a high street agency.

Took the initiative to constantly chase things up and provide updates without the need for me to ask making it very stress free. During my time with Leonards I encountered many personalities all of which form the team that drives the sale, each have their own strengths and roles which, when combined, create something quite formidable, what I witnessed was teamwork at it's very best. If you have the good fortune to have Neil deal with any aspect of your sale then you can rest assured you are in good hands. They actively market properties to their customer base and beyond, they give good advice on making the property more saleable, and they chase offers and sales to ensure they are moving along (Pearl is very good at the latter). We had excellent service from Lee, above and beyond what I expected and what I've experienced previously either in East Yorkshire or elsewhere. Highly recommended.
7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)We approached Whitakers on a valuation of interest to begin with, we met with them for an evaluation….,to our surprise we thought it was an excellent price, your house or property is only worth as much as some one is willing to pay!<br><br>Our house was pictured by Harry which was amazing, even we wanted to re buy our house ??????<br><br>It went on the market late Friday evening, we had 3 viewings Monday morning and they all offered the full asking price… amazing!<br><br>That was it, we were moving, Helen from the Anlaby office was amazing, as much as I pressured the solicitors she did also, it was a collective chase to get the best outcome, open and transparent through out.<br><br>It all literally went through within under 13 weeks, we have moved in, but without the support from Helen and her team including our valuation and. Richie this wouldn’t have happened.<br><br>Thank you Whitakers team, bloody amazing and well done!<br><br>Mel & Lou

They helped move the sales process on which resulted in a successful sale. We don't live in Hull, but the team kept us up to date throughout the process. I would highly recommend Oscars. The effort Hannah put into taking our photos was beyond what I was expecting and I believe that this really helped us secure so many viewings.
