15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)WM Brown and in particular a young lady called Erin, have been extremely helpful throughout both our own house sale and our purchase of a new home in Norfolk. As we were selling privately (no estate agent), it was difficult for us to chase the progress of our own sale chain, yet Erin was helpful with this as well as ensuring all went smoothly with our purchase. All questions we had were answered promptly and she was always proactive, with a cheery, yet thoroughly professional approach. On a general point, we found Wm Brown in Watton, and other branches in Swaffham, Downham Market, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, to name just a few, have proved probably the most proactive chain of estate agents throughout our near year long search for a new home.

Her communication was top notch, she kept us updated every step of the way, answered all of our questions instantly, and truly went above and beyond.

From start to finish we were impressed with the professionalism of Christian Money - he understands the industry and is customer focused. Our contact throughout the selling process was Tracey. I will miss our calls and meetings! I came to really appreciate how hard she worked on the behalf of both us as the seller and indeed the buyer to make the process as uncomplicated as possible. Tracey was so lovely to have as our support during what was a stressful and emotional property sale. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I thought the use of a professional photographer enabled them to present the property in the best way possible and the sale particulars were comprehensive and appealing. They list on multiple online sites and vet potential buyers so as to ensure views are from only people who are genuinely motivated and in a position to purchase.

Lizzy in particular did an amazing job to keep on top of things due to a protracted conveyancing process which was out of our control. Without her assistance we'd probably still not have completed, so we're very grateful to her and the team in Attleborough.

Don’t believe the reviews, they only want your money and have zero ethics. Beware ! Shame on you Dereham office for letting a property like that, and for not disclosing existing mold issues.- 18th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)We had the absolute pleasure of working with Diogo as our mortgage advisor with William H Brown, and he has really helped every step of the way, with the promise (and clear intent) that he will continue until keys are in our hands.<br><br>Everything has been made to ensure that we are well informed, and in control of our movements. He has not even once tried to do a "typical sales move" and never once have we felt that he is just processing a commission, but it is clear dealing with our future and our interests.<br><br>Lovely genuine chap, who clearly works hard with the best intentions for us. Cannot recommend Diogo enough, what an asset to the Attleborough branch, and William H Brown as a whole. Thank you!
