25th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Poole Townsend Estate Agents have been very helpful in helping me to take up tenancy of a new flat. Their approach involves the use of an online portal combined with a personal touch. The portal works well, provides clear information and helps you to generally keep on top of any tenancy issues and requirements (including maintenance). But if you need personal or more bespoke assistance, you can contact the agents (via the portal, or directly by phone or email) and in my experience their responses are quick and effective. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Poole Townsend for renters.

Even in difficult market conditions they are positive about Sales.

Having spoken and dealt with other staff members at Kendal I can honestly say that they are a wonderful team. Everything has gone smoothly and we are moving next week, a huge thank you to Hunters.

Their approach to selling our home was a breath of fresh air and completely changed our expectations of what an estate agent should be.<br><br>From our very first meeting, Laura took the time to explain how we could present our home to achieve the best possible price and attract the right buyers. Her advice was practical, honest and incredibly valuable, and the marketing they created was unlike anything we’d seen before. It really showcased our home and generated fantastic interest.<br><br>One of the things we appreciated most was the communication. The WhatsApp updates were brilliant – after every viewing we received prompt feedback, knew exactly what buyers thought, and were kept fully informed of any interest or offers. We always felt involved and never had to chase for updates.<br><br>The team also took care of every viewing from start to finish, which made the whole process so much easier and far less disruptive. 10th Jul 2025 (11 mo. ago)We recently began renting a property through your agency. Unfortunately, on the second day of our tenancy, the landlord admitted to H and H agents that he had looked through our windows—an act that constitutes a serious violation of our right to privacy. Following this incident, we mutually agreed to end the tenancy early. However, we have been informed that a full month’s rent will be retained, with the explanation that the landlord’s actions were merely "a quick peek" and therefore not a cause for concern. Regardless of how brief the intrusion was, any unauthorized observation into a tenant’s private space is entirely inappropriate and unacceptable. According to the terms of the tenancy agreement, landlords must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before entering or inspecting the property. If there are concerns regarding the condition of the property, the appropriate course of action is to use the security deposit—not to violate a tenant’s privacy. In our case, the deposit was returned in full. While we acknowledge that we painted the walls without permission to high standard and neutral white colour, this does not in any way justify the landlord’s actions or the withholding of a month’s rent. Due to the seriousness of the privacy breach, I have reported the matter to the police, as it may constitute a criminal offence. I will also be pursuing the matter through civil court to recover the withheld rent. The response from your agency has been disappointing. In particular, a member of your staff, Shirley, laughed when I expressed discomfort over the landlord’s behavior. This dismissive attitude only adds to the distress we have experienced. A Complaint is ongoing but the agents to not seem to have the time to respond within a few days.. Renters deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity as homeowners. Owning a property does not entitle anyone to disregard the legal and ethical boundaries that protect tenants’ rights , we are not second class citizens..

I have rented through them on two separate occasions over the past 10 years, and I have found their approach to be consistently professional. I would like to specifically commend Emily, Lettings Negotiator, who supported me during my second tenancy. Her communication was clear, friendly, and professional throughout the process, and she made the overall experience straightforward and well-managed.

One of the best decisions ever made. From the start and meeting Keir he was so welcoming and professional and you could tell his knowledge of the area and as an estate agent was second to none. During the sale I also had the pleasure to meet Fran and Georgie plus other members of the team. They keep you informed and at ease and are there for any assistance at all. They sold my house then after being blown away by the service I then started a rental apartment with themselves. Overlooked by Georgie till I moved in. 5 Star service and the Rolls Royce of Estate agents. I tip my hat to the most amazing customer service received by whole team.
