15th Jun 2026 (22 days ago)Hunters are local experts. They are down to Earth and do not make wild claims about selling your property - they are realistic and speak to you honestly. Amy helped give us advice on how to make the house presentable for a sale and checking for damp. That was really appreciated as I was not able to have contacts in the area for support with these things. Communication was straightforward and all were pleasant and helpful throughout.
19th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)The whole team were very friendly and helpful and were professional in their manner. Our agent Mr Amit Joshi was very personable and knew a lot about the clients in our area. He explained the process clearly and was true to his word about what we should expect. Excellent communication and very prompt responses to our calls.
3rd Jul 2026 (4 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!

David, Emma and the team were very professional, easy to get along well with, and always available to answer any questions we had throughout the whole process. The efficiency with which they liaised with other agents involved as well as conveyancers just made things run so smoothly. I would highly recommend Thorps to friends, family and anybody else who asks!
