19th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)Poor experience with this letting agent, not helped by the tightest landlord (Kate) who wouldn't pay for repairs to be done in a timely manner, leaving our family in tricky circumstances more than once. When they do eventually send someone over to complete the work, it'll be done shoddily. I hope that £43 you managed to claim back via the DPS versus the nearly £800 you asked for is helpful :) To any renters - be under no illusion, the letting agent works for the landlord and is not there to help you in the slightest. This specific letting agents manager will suggest you scrape and replaster the bathroom ceiling (which was poorly maintained by the landlord) yourself "to make the house your own".

8th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)We found the team at DDM Grimsby to be responsive, professional and knowledgeable. It didn’t matter which member of the team we called, they all seemed to have an understanding of what we needed, could answer our questions and give us lots of advice and reassurance throughout our sale, as well as supporting us with our forward purchase. It never felt pushy, more a group of people who had our best interests at heart and that really helped when we went through some of the inevitable ups and downs of a house sale. We’d have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else thinking of selling up in North East Lincolnshire. We worked more closely with Doug and Lexi and they were very supportive but honestly, the rest of the team were great too, from the photos, video, taking our calls, answering our emails and even the times when I popped into the office, nothing was ever too much trouble.

Whenever we have an issue in our property Saffron is always straight on it and has never failed to not keep in touch with updates and she’s so easy to talk to! She always goes above and beyond to get things sorted and we’ve always appreciated it! So we just want to say thankyou on the behalf of me and my partner :)

31st Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Living in Bridlington and having to sell my parents property in Louth I was unsure of which estate agent to use , however , I just recalled that a board with "John Taylor " on had been outside my grandparents property way back so I decided on that. What a great decision that was, John Taylor have been exceptional from day one to completion, always at the end of the phone with help and advice, great communications as to when viewings would be ( the property was empty and the keys left with John Taylor, and a great understanding that this was not just a house sale to me but the sale of my family home for the last 69 years, the house I grew up in and called home for all those years. I cannot fault them in any way , the only word I can use is "exceptional" Special thanks to Anne who was outstanding , she is a star. kindest regards to all at John Taylor and many many thanks . 14th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Wouldn’t use this agent again to help find a property. Communication was very poor throughout the process. We viewed a property back in February and were initially told the landlord wouldn’t accept our application. Later, after the property had not had many viewings, they accepted an application from us. We were completely transparent from the start about a recently paid-off CCJ. After going through referencing, we were left waiting only to eventually be told the landlord decided not to proceed after another interested party came along. This could and should have been communicated much earlier. The agency seems to prioritise landlord decisions at the expense of customer care and basic communication. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Experienced zero support even when I tried to discuss strategy to ensure better interest in my property. I feel I wasted 16 weeks with little communication or care. Glad to be moving on with another local agent who has already proved themselves to be much more engaged with the seller than I experienced with Hunters in Horncastle.

Based in the centre of Louth, their office is easy to access. Thank you Crofts for providing an excellent service.

Throughout the whole process from valuation to completion Fairweather Estate Agents were fantastic and took the strain away. Hayden was spot on with his valuation and we achieved exactly what we wanted for the property. Throughout the sales process Sophie kept us informed and was reassuringly professional and confident, importantly she acted as a valuable conduit between both pairs of solicitors to keep the sales process going smoothly. 28th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)I was purchasing a property through Paul Fox and throughout the entire process, including both solicitors failing to communicate and progress, Sharna at Paul Fox was the only one who was proactive, communicative, helpful, and supportive. Getting both of the solicitors to actually communicate properly was like watching two Roombas attempt to knife fight, and Sharna honestly kept me sane. If I decide to sell in the future I'll be using Paul Fox without a doubt.
