2nd May 2024 (2 years ago)Difficult market for our price point with no demand currently due to the uncertain global macroeconomic backdrop, interest rate cycle and outdated property purchase administration. This may have been due to us but we felt later on that they did not qualify the potential buyers very well and we also had to chase them at times.

31st Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Living in Bridlington and having to sell my parents property in Louth I was unsure of which estate agent to use , however , I just recalled that a board with "John Taylor " on had been outside my grandparents property way back so I decided on that. What a great decision that was, John Taylor have been exceptional from day one to completion, always at the end of the phone with help and advice, great communications as to when viewings would be ( the property was empty and the keys left with John Taylor, and a great understanding that this was not just a house sale to me but the sale of my family home for the last 69 years, the house I grew up in and called home for all those years. I cannot fault them in any way , the only word I can use is "exceptional" Special thanks to Anne who was outstanding , she is a star. kindest regards to all at John Taylor and many many thanks . She facilitated communication between sellers and buyers really effectively and even chased up details that solicitors were slower to organise! On the whole, she made a potentially stressful experience feel easy!

Experienced zero support even when I tried to discuss strategy to ensure better interest in my property. I feel I wasted 16 weeks with little communication or care. Glad to be moving on with another local agent who has already proved themselves to be much more engaged with the seller than I experienced with Hunters in Horncastle.- 15th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)We recently completed our purchase in Leasingham through Pygott & Crone Sleaford, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The entire team at Sleaford provided fantastic support throughout the process, keeping communication clear, professional, and helpful from start to finish. Moving house can be stressful, but having a proactive and reliable local estate agent made a huge difference. Highly recommended to anyone buying or selling in the area!

They were always fast to respond, proactive, polite and professional, which made such a difference during what could otherwise have been a very stressful process.<br><br>A special thank you to Angela Powell, who was incredibly kind, supportive and helpful throughout. We faced several delays and external issues along the way, but Angela always handled everything with professionalism, patience and understanding, making the whole process much easier for us.<br><br>We really appreciate all the help and communication we received and would happily recommend the agency to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. ?????

Based in the centre of Louth, their office is easy to access. Thank you Crofts for providing an excellent service.
20th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Edit- The attached is the current situation at an Eddisons property on Swan Street. Eddisons 'do not wish to spend such sums' on a BIN so there are overflowing bins all around the entrance, bags being torn open by animals and residents can't open ground floor windows as it lets flies in. Eddison's suggestion? I'll send emails asking people to keep rubbish in their flats until before bin day, and people don't as they want rubbish out of their homes. So the rubbish in the street. No lack of urgency or rigour in response. Eddisons response below is 'I suggest you contact your landlord.' The 'landlord' response is 'we do not represent all parties so we cannot do anything regarding the shared areas which is up to Eddisons.'
