10th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

The property generated plenty of interest and ultimately achieved a sale price above the asking price, which was a fantastic result.<br><br>A special thank you to Jess for making the onboarding process straightforward and stress-free, as well as providing an accurate valuation from the outset. I’d also like to thank Lynn for her support and assistance throughout the sale.<br><br>However, my biggest thanks go to Catherine, who truly went above and beyond during what became a lengthy legal process. Unfortunately, the solicitors caused significant delays and dragged the transaction on for several months, but Catherine was relentless in chasing all parties involved and keeping the process moving forward. Her hard work, persistence, and constant communication with me made a huge difference and were instrumental in finally getting the sale over the line.<br><br>I genuinely felt supported throughout the entire journey and was always kept informed of progress. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to sell their property. As we were living in Cardiff and could not easily travel back to Manchester for viewings, they went above and beyond by arranging and sending us a detailed video tour of the property. This made the whole process so much easier and less stressful for us.<br><br>They were always available to answer our questions, kept us informed at every stage, and made what can often be a complicated process feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>We are very grateful for all their support and would highly recommend Lucy and Murray to anyone looking to rent a property. 24th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Dealing with Reeds Rains has been great from start to finish, the opposite of the Private Sector Leasing Scheme with Salford Council, Reeds are highly recommended, Sophie is tremendous,<br>Salford Council are the worst local authority in the Country.

The team were supportive and helpful throughout and the communication was really great to keep me up dated on the process and progress. This overall process is never without stress but they played their part in making it as smooth as possible.

Living over in Poland, I was a bit nervous about how things would go, but regular updates and friendly advice really put my mind at ease.<br>It meant a lot to be kept informed every step of the way, especially since this was my first time selling a house in England. They were there from the beginning to the end of the process to reassure, help and guide.<br>Laurence came to our property fully prepared for the valuation and from then guided us throughout the viewings and initial sale process.<br>Eleanor kept the sale chain updated and moving, smoothing everything over.<br>Toli and the whole team were there especially when it mattered most.

Olivia came to value the property and gave an honest and realistic potential value. Coral handled the details around sale of my property and couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Kay Collins.

22nd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)The worst service ever, i have just rented a property from bentley hurst and i have faced the worst service ever i received the property in the most felthy way no one clean anything after the previous guest and they scam me by sending the inventory report before they handing me the key after i reported the cleaning situation they responded was wait and we will send the cleaner to clean the property i refused and left the key i asked them to clean the property and change the move in date , ofc i had to keep calling them as they haven’t updated me for 2 days , and tell now didn’t receive the key for my letter box or even an apology, they wont even deserve a 1 star review, pay more than 5k for this property and the guarantor and dealing with this now ,even though he building concierge mention he received to many complaints on this agency, you don’t wanna rent from this agency
