7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.

14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)The photography was 5star and the online advert was very good. However the handling of viewings was varied with the different estate agents seeming to have different levels of skill about selling the house and it's location. Communication was poor. I had to call them repeatedly for updates even when they had said that someone would call me. All the staff from Connells were impeccably turned out and very polite and friendly.

He is very knowledgeable and has guided us through the process , keeping us informed at every stage which has been much appreciated. 2nd Oct 2026 (25 days ago)One of if not the best Estate Agent we’ve ever dealt with. Ivor was superb throughout the process, supportive, communicative and very thorough. We never once had to chase for updates which is rare in our experience of dealing with Agents. He would often go out of his way to obtain updates from all parties in the chain, pre-empting the next step and ensuring everyone was doing all they could to expedite things. If only all estate agents were as proactive and committed, the sale and purchase process would be far less stressful! We can’t thank him enough for all his support and would whole heartedly recommend him and his firm to anyone in need of such services.

Valuation was absolutely on the money, they knew their people who were looking to buy and what was important to them they matched a family with our property and they bought it and love the house. We did not even need to advertise. They worked so hard to keep everyone in the chain updated, we never had to chase them as they always kept us notified. I would recommend to anyone wanting to sell or buy. Brilliant experience.

Their price for handling the sale was very competitive and the service was professional from start to finish. We were updated regularly on the progress of the sale and information provided was always very clear and realistic. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in the area. Michael Sibley was outstanding in his dealings with us and achieved a great result! We also received a cheque for £200 on completion.
29th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Initial interactions were good - first visit, advertising and finding a tenant. Day to day management has been appalling - long response times, bad attitude, rude, inefficient (staff don't know what other staff are doing), have caused problems by promising things to my tenant and then refusing to follow through, not impressed with their service for repairs - told me they had trades people they regularly use but provided very expensive quotes so I ended up having to employ my own trades people to undertake any work. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Avoid!

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
