I’m a conveyancer and have been working in conveyancing for some time now, so I’ve dealt with countless estate agents. Unfortunately, many tend to leave everything to the conveyancers when it comes to chasing updates and progressing the matter. Dave has been outstanding throughout this transaction. He provided consistent updates and was extremely helpful in supporting the sellers with even the smallest matters, particularly when it came to obtaining documents and information from third parties, and ensuring the buyers’ requests were easily manageable for the client. This was also a chain of 8 properties, yet Dave stayed proactive and involved throughout while many other agents in the chain seemed content to sit back. It genuinely makes a difference working with someone who is engaged and committed to helping keep things moving. Dave was exactly that. Highly recommended.
15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Harry Benton was my mortgage advisor from the Bletchley branch, he was amazing from start to finish, quick responses, very professional but also very warm, approachable and conscientious. He always replied quickly to emails and took zoom calls and meetings on many occasions to fit around my availability even if it ment him having to stay at work a lot later. I would definately 100% recommend Harry if you want a mortgage, he got us more than I expected to borrow and at a great rate, he was very clear and concise. We are now in our forever home largely down to His great work...thank you Harry!!!

From the very beginning, when I decided to sell my house in November, Lydia and her colleagues were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They clearly understood the local market and gave excellent advice from day one. Despite the market being slower at the time, they successfully found the right buyers within two months, and from going on the market to completion, the full process took five months, which I was very pleased with. Throughout the process, the team kept me regularly updated on my property’s performance, including Rightmove interest, market conditions, and realistic advice around pricing strategy. Their guidance helped me sell my home as quickly as possible while also achieving the best price I could. They also recommended Shoosmiths for conveyancing, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation and helped make the whole process run smoothly. She promised to come back to me and she did without any follow up. She fully understood what we were trying to achieve . 22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Both Stuart and Tom have been an absolute god send in what was made an incredibly difficult transaction by Solicitors. They have chased relentlessly to keep momentum and without them, I’m certain we would have seen the time at least doubled. A difficult property to sell, they managed to quickly find me buyers when the sale fell through 3 times, remaining calm and efficient the entire time. Unfortunately the original property we were buying also fell through, but some great alternatives were quickly presented, noting all the things which were important for us. Thank you so much guys!
20th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I've not had a great experience with these people. One lady telling me I've said things i haven't and it wouldn't hurt if she smiled a bit. Also have repeatedly asked for my holding deposit back as promised but they keep making empty promises.

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We instructed Deacon White in Dunstable as we purchased the house through them a few years previously all your and was impressed with the way the transaction was handled. We mainly dealt with Eliot this time and can honestly say he went way over and above what a typical estate agent would do. The transaction had its ups and downs ( not Deacon Whites fault) and has finally gone through. Eliot was not only professional and curious he was available out of office hours to give reassurance when needed. When I got stressed and upset he was so calm. If you are unsure who to instruct or purchase give these guys a chance as it’s rare to find an estate agent who goes that extra mile. Thank you for all you have done Ray and Leigh

The team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the whole process. Selling and buying at the same time can be stressful, but they made everything feel seamless and well-managed. Communication was excellent at every stage, and we always felt informed and reassured. Their attention to detail, dedication, and genuine care really set them apart. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy a property. A truly exceptional team! 10th May 2022 (3 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

After having our flat on the market for three years with multiple other agents and getting nowhere, he managed to secure a sale in just two months. From the start , he has been proactive, communicative, and genuinely motivated to get the best outcome for our family. The difference in approach compared to our previous experiences was night and day – better marketing, regular updates, and a real sense that he cares about the service he provides.
17th Nov 2025 (25 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.
