21st Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I’ve had such a genuinely great experience with Stratford’s from start to finish. From the initial viewing right through to moving in and getting settled, everything has been handled incredibly professionally, quickly, and with a really personal touch. The whole team have been consistently responsive, polite, and efficient — any questions I’ve had have been answered straight away, and nothing has ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out to me is how smooth they made the entire process. Moving can often be stressful, but they made it feel straightforward and well organised at every step. Even after moving in, the support hasn’t dropped off at all. Communication has remained excellent, and any follow-ups have been handled just as quickly and professionally as everything before. It’s clear they genuinely care about providing a high level of service, and it shows in how they deal with tenants. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stratford’s to anyone looking to rent — a really refreshing experience compared to what you might expect elsewhere. Thanks again to the team for making the whole process so easy!
7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.- 3rd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)First rate customer service from Vanessa and Hadley. Having known both of them for a number of years I can honestly say that they both display a sense of pride and care in their ability to look after people and do what best for their client, nothing seems too much trouble for them. A quality sadly lacking in a lot of the industry. Highly recommended.
15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Harry Benton was my mortgage advisor from the Bletchley branch, he was amazing from start to finish, quick responses, very professional but also very warm, approachable and conscientious. He always replied quickly to emails and took zoom calls and meetings on many occasions to fit around my availability even if it ment him having to stay at work a lot later. I would definately 100% recommend Harry if you want a mortgage, he got us more than I expected to borrow and at a great rate, he was very clear and concise. We are now in our forever home largely down to His great work...thank you Harry!!!

She promised to come back to me and she did without any follow up. She fully understood what we were trying to achieve . 22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Both Stuart and Tom have been an absolute god send in what was made an incredibly difficult transaction by Solicitors. They have chased relentlessly to keep momentum and without them, I’m certain we would have seen the time at least doubled. A difficult property to sell, they managed to quickly find me buyers when the sale fell through 3 times, remaining calm and efficient the entire time. Unfortunately the original property we were buying also fell through, but some great alternatives were quickly presented, noting all the things which were important for us. Thank you so much guys!

24th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)We recently purchased a new build property through a part exchange process and Urban and Rural were appointed as estate agents by the housing developer. We were very impressed with them from the outset with their professional approach with marketing, and their communication with us using WhatsApp was excellent. They were proactive in promoting our house, and they were polite and courteous with each visit therefore we would highly recommend Urban and Rural.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

10th May 2022 (3 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

He also put us onto an excellent solicitor who always kept us unto date with progress. Overall marketing of our property was good with Ariel views and good internal photos.

After having our flat on the market for three years with multiple other agents and getting nowhere, he managed to secure a sale in just two months. From the start , he has been proactive, communicative, and genuinely motivated to get the best outcome for our family. The difference in approach compared to our previous experiences was night and day – better marketing, regular updates, and a real sense that he cares about the service he provides.

17th Nov 2025 (25 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.
