7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.

17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I had a fantastic experience with Brown & Merry Stony Stratford, and I would especially like to highlight Alexandra Read for her outstanding support throughout the process.<br><br>I attended around 7–8 viewings and met several different agents, but none were as helpful, approachable, and genuinely positive as Alexandra. From the outset, her communication style was warm, professional, and reassuring, making the entire experience feel smooth and well-managed.<br><br>She demonstrated a strong understanding of how to adapt her approach to different clients, which made interactions feel both personal and efficient. From the initial viewing through to the referencing and application process, she maintained clear and consistent communication via both email and phone, ensuring everything progressed quickly and without stress.<br><br>Overall, the service was excellent, and Alexandra in particular made a potentially stressful process feel straightforward and well supported. I would highly recommend both her and Brown & Merry Stony Stratford to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting experience.

We decided to approach Beasleys after deciding to part ways with a previous estate agent we used as it just dragged on. Jake came to our house to value and market our property, from the moment we met him we knew straight away this is the company we want to sell our house, honest, genuine, polite, spoke like a true professional, we knew he was someone we could trust, which is reassuring, he explained everything to us and gave us plenty of advice along the way. A special mention to Charlie aswell, who sold our house and got herself familiar with our property to answer any questions from prospective buyers, again, very impressed with her approach. I have already recommended Jake and the team to people who are wanting to sell their house, thanks again Beasleys.

5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)I’m writing this after more than a year with MK Property and their subsidiary, Venture Residential, and the experience has grown genuinely positive over time. It took me a little while to settle into their way of working — emails, the repair portal, the accounts portal — especially as I was used to a single point of contact. But once I adjusted, everything became much easier. The team has been consistently kind, responsive, and reassuring. They keep me informed about any changes or issues with the property and take the stress of day?to?day management off my shoulders. A special mention to Julia, Kevin, and Sandeep, who have each been wonderfully supportive in their roles. I’m very comfortable recommending them.

I especially appreciated that she immediately checked whether anyone was asleep in the house, which showed how thoughtful and respectful she is. She carried out a thorough inspection, took the time to ask if we had any concerns, and made sure I was comfortable throughout her visit. Nicola is a lovely person and a credit to your team.

20th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)We recently sold our house with Urban + Rural Bletchley, we worked with David, Fin and Molly. They've worked really hard to secure us a quick and sucessful sale for a price we were really happy with. The sale moved very very quickly, the team had three viewings organised within the first week of listing the property, we accepted an offer on the house less than a week later. They've been very organised with communication, David set up a family WhatsApp group for us so we could keep a track of messages together, one of the team would always be on call to answer any queries we had. The listing for the house was great, it showed the property in its best light, the photography was very well done. The house was unfurnished prior to the sale so David produced some additional images for us with furniture present to give prospective buyers an idea of what the house could look like. I think the overall quality of the listing helped us to get a good number of viewings in a short space of time. The sale process itself was straightforward and the team made sure any checks and documents we needed were handled quickly. I would highly recommend Urban + Rural, they were calm, efficient and very professional and kept a potentially stressful process as smooth and easy as possible.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

10th May 2022 (4 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

He also put us onto an excellent solicitor who always kept us unto date with progress. Overall marketing of our property was good with Ariel views and good internal photos.

He was friendly and really good at communicating with us with viewings and how things were going. Once we had an offer on our property, Adam showed us our house we are in now off market and we fell completely in love. He made so much effort to make sure it all happened.<br>Although the timeline was long, no fault of Adam’s, he stayed constant in communication when we needed and was always there.<br>Would definitely recommend and use again.
