Been great communication with liaising with myself and tenants to arrange access to jobs, and after care. I speak as a contractor and tenants I’ve met have said she a great asset to the company and enjoy having her as my contact to deal with home cloud clients. Absolute delight. Look forward to carrying our relationship in the 2022 year as she progresses to be a great co-ordinator to myself and tenants… Go Gemma

1st Feb 2026 (14 weeks ago)Our property wasn’t sold, we went modern auction method which is extremely confusing to clients and potential buyers . It looks as though we dropped the price majorly however the buyer has to pay the high auction fee which throws them out of the bidding as cannot afford the costs

Do not use if you value your property's safety or expect basic professional service We used the Connells Newport Pagnell branch to sell our home, and it was a terrible experience. Before you sign the contract, they will promise you the world, claiming they have a huge list of eager buyers lined up. The moment you sign, it is complete radio silence. They didn’t even bother to visit the property to create the listing properly. You quickly realise that the onus is entirely on *you* to sell the property, not them. Whenever we had to chase them for an update, their default excuse for the lack of progress was claiming the "house is not clean"—without ever specifying what actually needed cleaning. This was an insulting and completely bogus excuse, considering the house was completely vacant and we were regularly commuting from Aylesbury, balancing full-time jobs and a young family, to keep it in pristine condition. However, the most severe issue was their blatant breach of security and legal protocols. Weeks prior to the legal completion of the sale, Connells handed over our keys to the buyer and their contractors, allowing them **unaccompanied and unauthorized access** to our property on multiple occasions. We were never notified or asked for consent; we only found out because our vigilant neighbors told us. To arrive and find new stains in the house because the agent illegally allowed people in was devastating. Their negligence not only breached the TPO Code of Practice but put us at immense risk of invalidating our insurance. When we raised this severe security breach, the branch was entirely dismissive. They operate with a shocking air of entitlement, constantly reminding us they are the "biggest estate agent," as if basic legal safeguards don't apply to them. They brushed off this massive failure as a "minor service issue" and offered an insulting £100 "goodwill gesture," which we firmly rejected. They expect sellers to pay their hefty fees and follow every rule to the letter, but casually waive the law when it suits them or their buyers. This branch cannot be trusted with your keys, your listing, or your legal rights. We have formally escalated this matter to The Property Ombudsman (TPO). Avoid at all costs.
10th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Neil was great. We’ve used Jackson stops previously and they were great so came straight back to them. They were the best value for money, the most accurate In terms of market value and sold out property within 2 weeks.
26th Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)Cranes have been fantastic, they advised us well, sold our house quickly and were very supportive when the property we were buying (out of the area) wasn't running quite as smoothly. 19th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Thomas Connelly have been good trying to sell our house. They have been polite and courteous when reaching out, and they have tried different things to push the sale. I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We instructed Deacon White in Dunstable as we purchased the house through them a few years previously all your and was impressed with the way the transaction was handled. We mainly dealt with Eliot this time and can honestly say he went way over and above what a typical estate agent would do. The transaction had its ups and downs ( not Deacon Whites fault) and has finally gone through. Eliot was not only professional and curious he was available out of office hours to give reassurance when needed. When I got stressed and upset he was so calm. If you are unsure who to instruct or purchase give these guys a chance as it’s rare to find an estate agent who goes that extra mile. 29th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)For context my comments are as a buyer. After multiple previous bad experiences with other agents I didn't have very high hopes. However, Jack Brown couldn't have been anymore helpful. He answered my emails quickly, even when on holiday. He went out of his way to gain information that wasn't really his job to get. Met with me onsite multiple times and was generally very easy to deal with. I also met one of his other colleagues a while ago who was equally helpful and patient with my hundreds of questions. Sorry I don't remember your name. Credit to your business. ???? I'm sure Jack will be glad to see the back of me. Thanks again. To the "other agents" (You know who you are) you could learn a thing or two from TDB about customer service. I didn't name you as I'm a decent person. Answering the phone and your emails is what sells properties and gives people confidence in you. Honesty goes a long way.
