11th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)My experience with Barnard Marcus estate agents is with their lettings department in finchley N12.<br>Having a number of properties in North Finchley I have been dealing with their lettings manager for the past 7 or 8 years.<br>What I like is the strong understanding and relationship with the same person for the whole timep. The lettings manager Linas to be very understanding of my requirements and very personable to deal with and I find him to be very efficient in his job.<br>All the rentals which I have given to Linas he has obtained good quality tenants within aabout two days and most recently within half a day.

Any concerns raised are addressed promptly, giving us confidence that issues are taken seriously and resolved efficiently.<br><br>The team is consistently accommodating, professional, and polite, making every interaction pleasant and stress-free. Their excellent communication and commitment to customer service are truly appreciated.
13th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)Very disappointing experience. I booked a viewing with this estate agent and nobody turned up at the agreed time. After taking time out of my day to attend, I received no prior notice, apology, or explanation. When I contacted the office, rather than dealing with the issue professionally, staff appeared to respond with sarcasm, which only added to my frustration. The communication was poor, the service was unprofessional, and there seemed to be little regard for my time or the inconvenience caused. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not a level of customer service I would expect from an estate agent.

She managed to get me a viewing for a highly sought-after flat when slots were very limited, and gave me some great advice along the way. In the end, we got the flat!<br><br>Pam is not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely positive, friendly, and human. She made what can be a stressful process feel much easier and more personal. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new home.
15th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)? Avoid — recurring leak left unresolved for months<br><br>We are a landlord whose flat sits below a property managed by this agent. Water has repeatedly leaked from the flat above into ours, damaging our ceiling and floor — most recently right after we completed a full refurbishment.<br><br>This has been reported on numerous occasions. Each time we were told it was fixed, and each time the leak returned, which tells us it has never been properly repaired. We are also concerned about the living conditions of the tenants in the flat above.<br><br>Our dealings with Jebin Raja on this matter have been disappointing — reports have not led to a lasting fix, and the lack of follow-through has been frustrating to deal with. We have now escalated to the Property Ombudsman and the local council.<br><br>If you’re considering this agent, we’d urge caution based on our experience.

The whole process was handled extremely efficiently and smoothly, from showing me around the property to signing the tenancy agreement. I was dealing with Holly and Harry who have been exceptionally helpful. The communication between both of them and myself has been outstanding and they have kept me up to date continuously. They were even happy to communicate in the evenings, weekends and over a bank holiday. Most definitely the best letting agents I have ever dealt with.

Their criteria for selecting tenants is high class and reliable.<br>The branch manager at Beaufort Park, Rahim Velji, with whom I mostly deal with, is a professional gentleman with a very courteous and helpful attitude and is always available and ready to help and resolve matters satisfactorily.<br>Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the service provided by all the staff of B&R.

As I live around 2.5 hours away, a clear and honest video viewing was really important. Many agents I contacted were either slow, vague, or failed to show key details properly, but Amir and Jamal were completely different. The video was transparent, showing the property, access, street, parking, and residential setting clearly. Communication was quick, professional, and straightforward throughout. Amir and Jamal gave clear guidance, helped move the application along quickly, and made what is usually a very stressful rental search feel much easier. Really impressed with the service; clear, upfront, and reliable. Thank you to Amir and Jamal for making the process so smooth.

Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.
