He took the time to explain everything in great detail, made the whole process easy to understand and gave us confidence from the very beginning.<br><br>Jess then looked after the sale of Lyon Street and was absolutely brilliant throughout. She was always friendly, helpful and happy to answer any questions — nothing was ever too much trouble.<br><br>Tia then looked after the purchase of Sumner Street and has been fantastic, particularly with all the chasing and back and forth towards the end. She kept us updated and did everything she could to keep things moving, even when I'm sure she was fed up of hearing from us!<br><br>Nathan also deserves a mention, as he was always happy to step in and help whenever Jess or Tia were busy. It really does feel like a team where everyone is willing to help.<br><br>And finally, they all deserve an extra star just for managing to stay so cheerful while listening to that constant beeping in there office all day ?????? Honestly, they deserve an award for putting up with that alone — absolute troopers!<br><br>A huge thank you to Reece, Jess, Tia and Nathan. You've all made what can be a very stressful process so much easier, and we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better team. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Your Move Shaw.

23rd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.

She was professional, calm when things got tricky, and always available when we needed information. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommended!

The team are so experienced and so professional in all they do , I felt like I was part of their family , nothing was to much trouble for them , I would definitely recommend habitat to anyone who wants to rent or sell . A massive thank you to all the team for really looking and supporting me whilst I was with them .

My initial valuation with John was professional and informative, the team in the office were always friendly and incredibly helpful, and Michelle was fantastic during the final stages before completion, answering any queries promptly and making everything run smoothly.<br>They really made what can be a challenging and stressful process feel much easier. Having used different estate agents in the past, I can honestly recommend Kirkham with complete confidence and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience!- 11th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Excellent service up to now. Higher valuation than other agents and sold within a few weeks above asking price. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff, especially Nicole, who kept in touch very regularly. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I cannot recommend Susan Eve Estate Agents highly enough.<br>This was a challenging, non-straightforward sale as the property had fell into disrepair and was being sold by two estranged, separate Executors.<br>Right from the beginning when Rachael came to value the house, I could see her passion for the job, knowledge of the area and commitment to achieve a sale.<br>When a buyer was found after a short period of time, the whole team worked together putting my interests to the forefront. Communication with them was excellent and replies to queries always speedy. No matter who you spoke to they were all updated and on the same page. They dealt with sensitive issues with upmost diplomacy and professionalism.<br>They have worked miracles and managed to sell a property I thought would 'never sell in a million years' and achieved a good price. Thank you team!
