From the moment I met Aimee, she instantly understood what I was looking for in a home and was able to show me exactly the right house for my family. She even suggested a property I was hesitant to view, but she knew I’d fall in love with it, and she was right.<br><br>During the completion process I worked with Natasha, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us progress our sale through a chain of five parties and four properties. She worked tirelessly, and honestly I don’t think we could have completed without her.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team.
4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Used another estate agents in Bicester before using Thomas Merrifield but did'nt feel that they were doing much for us. Changed to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was amazing. John and Sharon who we dealt with the most were great, really knowledgable of the area, the valuation of the house and advising us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent. Overall, very pleased.

From the very beginning, Lincoln and team went above and beyond to help us sell our home and achieve the best possible result. Lincoln managed to sell our house within a week and, incredibly, for above the asking price — especially impressive when several other estate agents had advised us to list it for less!<br><br>Lincoln’s enthusiasm, knowledge of the local area and genuine commitment really stood out. He was always friendly, approachable and incredibly helpful, keeping us updated throughout the whole process and making what can be a stressful time feel so much easier.<br><br>Most importantly, he really listened to what we wanted and worked with us to achieve our goal of selling our home so that we could secure our dream home moving forward. We’re so grateful for everything he did for us and couldn’t be happier with the service we received.<br><br>Thank you, Lincoln! 6th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)I have just completed on my new property bought through Barton Fleming in Bicester. From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks

Dominic was really great with us as we didn't know the area very well at all. Suzie very helpful when finalising the rental agreement. I would recommend Davis Tate.

Throughout the process, she kept me fully updated on progress and client appointments, and was genuinely keen to secure a rental as quickly as possible. Both Jasmine and Chloe supported me with clear guidance, timely responses, and helpful clarification of my queries. Their professionalism made the entire process smooth and stress?free. They make a very professional and efficient team. Highly recommended.

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)My review: Google Review<br><br>1 star — extremely disappointing experience<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with Cridland’s Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing. What should have been a straightforward property transaction has turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult process of cat and mouse games.<br><br>We’ve tried to approach things reasonably and have based our position on the findings of a professional survey, yet rather than feeling that our concerns were being properly understood, we were left feeling that the priority was simply to keep the sale price up.<br><br>An estate agent should act as a professional intermediary — communicating clearly, managing expectations and helping both parties reach a sensible agreement. Instead, we’ve found the communication and handling of the situation particularly frustrating.<br><br>It’s disappointing when buyers are treated as though raising legitimate concerns about a property is somehow unreasonable. We’re spending a substantial amount of money and have every right to make an informed decision based on the actual condition of the house.<br><br>Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend Cridland’s if you’re looking for an estate agent who genuinely puts professionalism, transparency and good communication first.
10th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Nicky and her team at Summertown have worked tirelessly and enthusiastically over the past year to get our 4th prospective buyer over the line. It has been a challenging task but the team never let go of the job and eventually it paid off. Also Nicky arranged a private sale of a cottage in the Village that will suit our needs very well. Our thanks to Nicky and her team for a job well done.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.
1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
18th Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We had a great experience buying our first home in Bicester through Hunters.<br><br>As first-time buyers, we honestly did not know much about the process at the beginning, but Rachel, Jenny and Phil were incredibly helpful throughout. They supported us from the first viewing all the way to completion, and even afterwards with various follow-up matters.<br><br>It was a chain of four parties, but we still managed to complete in around 10 weeks from offer to completion. This would not have been possible without their dedicated help, timely and clear communication, as well as professional support.<br><br>A big thank you to the Hunters Bicester team. Highly recommended!
