12th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)cubitt & west have been a breath of fresh air for us! dealing with previous estate agents were a nightmare we were never getting our issues sorted or even our phone calls answered. the first day we moved into our new rented property we had a couple of teething issues things weren’t working quite as they should, when i contacted becky to let her know about these issues she had it resolved within a matter of hours. she also helped us with the moving in process. nothing felt rushed or like we were being forced into a decision and helped us the whole way regarding questions about the property. can definitely recommend and hopefully they will help us buy our own home one day!
3rd Feb 2021 (5 years ago)When looking to secure a tenancy we were not kept up to date or informed if our offers had been accepted or unsuccessful, after emails and calls not returned we went elsewhere and secured a property with all checks completed in 48 hours. Do not recommend
12th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)We bought our home in the centre of Wickham through Harringtons this summer. Although as a buyer we don’t pay estate agent fees, we had a great service from Harringtons. John was very obliging with our requests for viewings and information and helped ensure the whole process ran smoothly. Helen was super helpful behind the scenes ensuring that there were no delays in the chain and the process was wrapped up within our planned time scales. We are really delighted with our new home and the service we received from Harringtons. I can’t imagine moving from this home but if we did, I would definitely choose the team at Harringtons to support us.

17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)The office team were very helpful and patient as I tried to set up a date for valuation. The site visit was very good with a verbal proposal. Since then we heard nothing after the valuation letter. This review originally of 3 stars, prompted a phone call from the agent who was somewhat confused on the low rating. I advised them that I had sent a general enquiry to the Fareham office to seek a Best And Final Offer (amongst 4 other estate agents). Subsequently and in short order the revised offer was submitted.

It was a stressful 3 days trying to find the right property to apply for and the housing company had back to back issues when we were trying to apply however Sarah kept us updated frequently. She would get back to our calls within a couple of hours and was going out of her way to get us in contact with the right people. Any time we were having difficulty we could contact Sarah and she would sort it straight away. Now we’re moving through our application with Simplelife thanks to Sarah and we highly recommend Walker and Waterer.

Experienced, genuinely caring and ready to go that extra mile which is essential in the current tough market. I have no reservations in highly recommending TH&B.
19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)Currently under offer and in today's market that means there is still a road to travel? However, choosing Jackson Bailey has so far proved a very good decision. My choice was based on viewing houses advertised with Jack 2 years ago and, now I am selling, "interviewing" Jack along with two household name agents locally : professional, friendly, reactive and efficient service and really understand the local market. No salesman -charm and then using faceless team members that know nothing about your property - exact opposite - hands on, genuine support from small, efficient and responsive team - well recoommend!

From an explanation of the tasks, transparency of pricing, review and feedback to ensure all parties were up-to-date with the status of the sale, advice in negotiation, help during the handover process, post sale touch base to ensure everything was good. They are professional, helpful, gave good advice, and made it feel like a team effort. We had a great outcome of a timely sale at a fair price. Warmly recommended.

Ours was a frustrating and drawn out chain but they remained professional, proactive and communicative throughout. They kept us informed at every stage, chased where needed and helped keep things moving. Their calm and courteous approach made a stressful process far more manageable. Highly recommended. We found their local property knowledge and professionalism, under Andrew’s stewardship, to be second to none, with honest and timely advice throughout. We have recommended Charters to others, who have also been very happy with the service.

The photography was beautiful and now we just hope nothing goes wrong that is not under his control

28th Feb 2026 (18 days ago)23 years with Leaders and 7 years with Fareham and they are the worst agent I have ever used and I have used a few. Hidden fee’s, increase rents and then when questioned as no correspondence supporting this they said it was my fault for not noticing, I wanted to leave them then but stuck in contract or would have cost me £2500 to leave. My last tenant didn’t pay their last months rent and Emily at leaders just sent the guarantor an email saying would she like to make a payment, what’s the point of them, I now am taking them to court as they didn’t take it out of the deposit either. Zero deposit!?! Well, the tenant paid around £4000 and at the end still needed to find the money to pay for damages. Leaders also think it’s ok to cut on a brand new worktop as they had a new kitchen, costing me £650 to replace as they never used a cutting board but I was given £20 on the adjudication. wardrobes that were wrecked, buckled they gave me £80 that wouldn’t even cover the removal of them they cost me £1750 to replace. Honestly ive used Romans before and they were amazing so not the whole company are unprofessional but this Leaders, they were slandering me to the tenant apparently and no care for your property. If you use them I hope you don’t need them for any problems, as they won’t help you. I’ve had more help from Bernard’s in 2 months with a couple of properties than I have with leaders in 23 years. What I can say about Leaders is that Josh in their tenancy management team are amazing Josh is so professional and knowledgeable just a great end of a bad experience from Fareham.
