If they tell you that they are going to do something, they do it, it's always easy to speak to one of the team & they are always helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend using their services, as they understand the local market extremely well.

We had a lot of questions for being first time renters and he was more then happy to answer every single one. Very professional and friendly, definitely recommend him if you’re looking to rent soon. He goes above and beyond for his clients. He has got us exactly what we wanted both times. The whole team are excellent and willing to help you ??????
3rd Feb 2025 (1 year ago)From the initial meeting to discuss the house sale, to actually getting it on the market and selling had been hassle free. The team from Beals have been great. Communication has been so quick and the relay of messages has been good. Couldn't ask for more.

22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Farndells have been brilliant. John Farndell is very direct and honest, which really works for me—though it might not suit everyone. That said, having a realistic and straightforward view is far more helpful in the long run. You may not always like what he says, but it’s factual and truthful. You can choose to ignore the advice, but if you genuinely want to sell, it’s worth listening and taking it on board. I’d definitely recommend using them.

17th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Be sure to get as much information about the property before accepting a tenancy agreement with this agency. It was never mentioned during the viewing, only after moving into the property did we find out there was an oil tank on the premises that needed to be refilled twice a year at our cost. A costly surprise!

From our very first meeting and throughout the entire application process, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. With over 30 years of experience, it really shows in the way he explains everything and handles each step with confidence. From the first appointment, David was warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, which made the whole process much less stressful. He kept us fully informed at every stage of the application, making sure we understood what was happening and what to expect next. Thanks to his guidance and support, our mortgage application was successful, and we were able to purchase our property without unnecessary complications. I would highly recommend David Caplin to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced mortgage advisor.

We saw the house listed online via Ancells. 1hr 45mins drive later. The home we saw felt so homely. We couldn't stop talking about it and how professional both Kelly & Jayne had been. We’ve had some negative experiences with other agents previously but Phil has restored our faith! His communication, knowledge and personable touches made what can be a daunting experience so much more exciting! He has accommodated and rooted for us - even to the point of consciously making an effort to make this experience just as exciting for our 4 year old! I’m relieved to know that we have Phil as a point of contact for our new home going forward!

His extensive knowledge really stood out, and he was always willing to help and explain things in a way that made sense. Combined with his great communication, it made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Overall, a highly professional and supportive team that I’d happily recommend.

From the beginning, we were encouraged to proceed and submit an offer, with the impression that things were moving forward positively. Based on this, we acted quickly and in good faith. However, after submitting our offer, the process changed unexpectedly, and we were informed that further viewings would continue before any decision would be made. While we understand that landlords may wish to consider multiple applicants, the lack of clear guidance and inconsistent communication from Amelia made the process feel unclear and, at times, misleading. As prospective tenants on a tight relocation timeline, clear and consistent communication is extremely important. Unfortunately, we felt that the process was not managed in a way that reflected this. We hope that in future, applicants are given clearer expectations and guidance from the outset to avoid unnecessary uncertainty and inconvenience.
