17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Despite challenging market conditions, he stayed calm, communicative, and proactive from start to finish, always keeping us informed and quick to respond whenever we had questions.<br><br>Ed's pricing advice was realistic and well judged, and his marketing of the property really showcased its best features. The team at Knight Frank has excellent knowledge of the local area, which made a real difference in attracting the right buyers and negotiating a successful sale.<br><br>Ed made what can be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. Even though they are based in Eastleigh, they did an outstanding job selling my property in Chandler's Ford—an area traditionally dominated by local Chandler's Ford agents.<br><br>Connells approached me and persuaded me to sell with them after I had a bad experience and took the flat off the market. I’m so glad they did! Thanks to Hobbie, who valued the flat at the right price, making it possible to move on to my next property.<br><br>The entire team was incredible throughout: Oli brought great charisma and efficiency to the sales side, working alongside Fin; they sold my flat within just a few days of it going on the market, and Chloe provided excellent support on the mortgage side—she is ever so efficient. Their attention to the client and level of care were truly exceptional. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience and highly recommend them!

Jamie was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the process, from advising me on the right listing price to keeping me updated as the sale progressed.<br><br>The communication was good throughout, and Jamie was always available to offer advice and answer any questions I had.<br><br>I would highly recommend Morris Dibben to anyone looking to sell or buy a property.
5th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)I’ve had an excellent experience with Fox & Sons over the past year, and I want to give particular recognition to Isaac, their mortgage services consultant, who has been genuinely outstanding throughout the entire process. From day one, he has been consistently patient, clear, and incredibly easy to communicate with. His manner strikes the perfect balance — always present and supportive, but never once pushy or overbearing.<br><br>Across the last six months, Isaac went above and beyond in helping me understand my options. He produced numerous mortgage quotes for different terms, deposit amounts, and scenarios, each time taking the time to walk me through the implications so I could make informed decisions. What impressed me most was that his support wasn’t limited to mortgages alone; he offered thoughtful, practical advice on a wide range of home?buying topics, double?checked that the properties I was interested in (not with Fox & Sons) were priced fairly, and gave guidance on what and when to offer. Buying a property can be a very stressful experience — especially as a first?time buyer — but Isaac’s input made navigating the process far less daunting.<br><br>Isaac's professionalism, dedication, and genuinely pleasant approach made a huge difference to my experience. Honestly, the whole process was much quicker than I expected. Almost everything was completed within 7 days, and I had the keys to my new home in no time!<br><br>I would especially like to appreciate Beth and Carly for their excellent service. Both have been extremely professional, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. What I really appreciate is that they don’t just wait for you to contact them; they proactively send emails to check on progress, ask if there are any issues, and make sure everything is going smoothly.<br><br>Their communication and customer service have been outstanding, which made the whole experience much easier and stress-free for me.<br><br>A big thank you to Beth, Carly, and the Northwood team for making my first experience so positive. I genuinely appreciate all their help and would happily recommend Northwood to others!
17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!
19th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Having just bought a property with the help of the staff at Byrne and Co I can only rate this operation with full 5 stars.<br>From the moment I arranged my first viewing to the day of completion there has always been someone, either John or Helen or any of the other staff there, to assist or chase things along.<br>I would not hesitate to use Byrne and Co again, they seemed to have a very traditional attitude towards customer service that in my experience is so much more effective that the "corporate" agents that I have dealt with in recent years.

However, communication between exchange and completion was very stressful and difficult as I appeared to do all the chasing to finalise the property sale.

James and the team were really passionate about selling our property and very knowledgeable about the area the market and our potential buyer types. They helped us to get the market quickly and efficiently. All the team were helpful and James especially was very helpful and honest and supportive. We managed to find the right buyer and in the right timeframe in a challenging market. I would highly recommend all the team

22nd Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall

Their communication, support and dedication have been exceptional throughout.<br><br>I genuinely can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dybles to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. An outstanding team and a truly first-class service!

Very helpful, kept in touch throughout the sale and achieved it quickly and efficiently. Streets above his competitors & would highly recommend (& use him again if he were in my new area!)

3rd Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Relatively early days for us but so far have been super impressed by Hellard’s attention to detail and also smart and direct questioning when we registered (Emily, who was great)They have in a short period of time presented two properties of interest. They are very prepared and very knowledgable on the properties they are marketing (Viv, who is excellent). Also they really do know their market and local area. Have a lot of confidence that Hellards will find the house of our dreams!

They were upfront with costs etc and explained all we needed to know about selling our property. The staff in the office are extremely friendly and approachable and we always got to speak to someone when we needed to. We would highly recommend, a good experience throughout.
