17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Very impressed with the service I received from Winkworth in Winchester. Every aspect of the process so far has been excellent. Good prompt valuation, marketed very well online and in a printed brochure with good photos and text. The property was under offer in less than two weeks on the market. Professional handling of the offer and follow up since then has also been extremely good. Communication throughout has been friendly and very clear.

The entire team have been incredibly supportive and proactive throughout the entire process, especially when encountering unexpected difficulties along the way. Their knowledge of the local market has been invaluable, as has their professional yet extremely friendly advice. We would recommend them without hesitation.
22nd Apr 2024 (1 year ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall
25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

My move became ridiculously complex, further down the chain issues, and I was contacted and supported beautifully throughout the stressful and worrying time! Thank you to all the team, but I would like to say a HUGE thankyou to James and Jack! I felt you went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful ????
27th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Initially, Belvoir were fine to deal with, and for a long time our tenancy was managed adequately. Unfortunately, everything went downhill once Sheila became involved, and the experience deteriorated rapidly from that point onward. Despite us living in the property for over three years, they forgot that we were moving out, blaming internal handover issues that were entirely Belvoir’s responsibility, not ours. This caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult move. When we tried to resolve this, Sheila was rude, hostile, and unprofessional on the phone. Following our exit, it became clear that Belvoir were missing large amounts of essential tenancy data, including records of maintenance, inspections, and issues we had raised throughout our tenancy. Because these records no longer existed, legitimate issues were then questioned during the deposit process, purely due to their own poor record keeping. This raised serious concerns that our personal data had also been mishandled or lost, likely due to inadequate handovers between the multiple agents we were passed between over the years. As a result, I submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) to confirm what personal data Belvoir held about us. Alarmingly, they did not understand what a Subject Access Request was or why it was required, which highlights a concerning lack of knowledge around basic data protection obligations. When the SAR was eventually provided, it was incomplete and confirmed that Belvoir have lost significant personal data, including copies of our passport, despite confirming that such documents should be retained for 7 years. We were also informed that all inboxes of previous agents had been deleted, which explains the absence of tenancy records. Since then, my emails have been ignored, and I am still trying to obtain confirmation of when this data was deleted and under what lawful basis, as this does not appear to be GDPR compliant. I strongly recommend that anyone who has rented with Belvoir for a significant period submits a Subject Access Request to ensure they have accurate tenancy records and that their personal data has not been lost or improperly deleted. Belvoir’s service quality has clearly declined, and the handling of our tenancy and personal data has been unacceptable.

Keano was very open and honest with us and accommodated extra viewings that were convenient for us. He was communicative throughout and ensured we knew what was going on.<br>Catherine chased solicitors and got us more answers than we were getting and we were extremely grateful for her support from having our offer accepted until completion day. Thank you all at Romans for being good honest people, we couldn’t recommend you enough! You hear horror stories about estate agents but we have had the opposite experience with Romans.

Their approach has been genuinely personal, they’ve taken the time to really understand what we’re looking for and are clearly focused on finding us the right property, rather than just sending us a catalogue of listings. Rosanna and Viv in particular have been incredible: proactive, thoughtful, and a real pleasure to work with. We feel truly supported throughout the process and couldn’t recommend them more highly.

30th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)We highly recommend Marco Harris. Communication was excellent throughout — clear, prompt, and the WhatsApp group was a bonus. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and all of our questions were answered clearly with no pressure at all. There was a healthy amount of viewings and offers forthcoming, giving plenty us of choice, which was really appreciated. A special mention to Kieran, Shannen, and Connor, who were all fantastic and a real credit to the team. A smooth, professional experience from start to finish. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marco Harris to anyone who’s selling their property. Thank you!
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
