14th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)We dealt with Knight Frank between January and May 2026, purchasing a house through them in the Winchester area. During the process our agent was always calm, helpful and encouraging. From the initial viewing to completion they were quick to respond and follow up any questions we had, being available within an hour or two during a busy day. They were focused at all times on finding a way to get us over that exchange of contracts line, liaising with the relevant parties (vendors, solicitors, the management company), anticipating and dealing with issues that might hold things up.

30th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)Just moved into a property at the arts centre managed by these guys. The place is so dirty, I’m hiring someone to come clean , bathroom door is broken, freezer doesn’t seal, downstairs shower doesn’t work but apparently we were made aware at the viewing that the place was old so these are acceptable. At the viewing they were still working on the place painting so you’d assume the work would be to bring the place to par and one would also assume it would be cleaned and brought to standard before tenant moving in but it’s a struggle having conversations with the agent (either over email or phone) he’s quite unlikeable and combative, he’s default mode seems to be deflection or obfuscation instead of just acknowledging or trying to listen. Every time I’ve spoken to him, he’s repartee has been you were told, I’ve barely interacted with him. Literally the first day I’m in the property and the relationship is already sour. Don’t use these guys if this is the standard. Honestly it’s amateur hour. I tell him I’m going to review the place against the inventory his response was you were told at the viewing the place was older, implying I should just accept the inventory as is and any broken stuff as normal (including ventilators in both bathroom not working, which is illegal) such insane and condescending responses from a “senior consultant” ??????.

The lines of communication and speed of response after my initial inquiry to view was spot-on and a particular mention to Charlie who met us at the viewing. Very nice chap, a refreshing laid-back approach but well informed as well. Hope to see more properties with them.

This was our first time purchasing a property through the modern auction process, so naturally we had lots of questions. Malachi was incredibly reassuring throughout, always taking the time to answer every question quickly and thoroughly, which really put our minds at ease.<br><br>His communication was excellent, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and enjoyable.<br><br>We wouldn't hesitate to use Mann Estate Agents again in the future and would highly recommend Malachi to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. From the start, the team was always friendly, approachable, and accommodating. They were happy to arrange viewings whenever we requested them, which made finding the right home much easier.<br><br>A special thank you goes to Donetta Holland, who was exceptional throughout the entire process. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but she made everything feel so much more manageable. She consistently went above and beyond by chasing solicitors and other third parties, following up on enquiries, and making sure nothing was left sitting for too long. She kept us informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and was always available to answer our questions and offer reassurance. Donetta’s knowledge of conveyancing processes and general conveyance law was also extremely helpful, as she was able to clearly explain stages of the process and guide us through what to expect, which gave us real confidence throughout. Her communication, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile made such a positive difference to our experience. They came highly recommended by several local people, all of whom described them as the best estate agents in the area, and our experience certainly lived up to that reputation.<br>Our property was far from a straightforward sale. As a Grade II listed building requiring extensive renovation, it appealed to a smaller pool of buyers, and the process ultimately took just over a year. Throughout that time, the team at Stride & Sons remained patient and professional.<br>Their advice was always thoughtful and clearly focused on achieving the best outcome for us, rather than simply pushing for a quick sale. We always felt they were acting in our best interests, providing honest guidance and realistic expectations at every stage of the process.<br>We are extremely grateful for their support and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their home.<br><br>Edit: it was notable that their contract was a straightforward and simple two-page document (this was in stark contrast to one other particular estate agent we considered whose contract contained a jaw-dropping number of unfair clauses that you are guided to avoid).
